You can do better

One of the few times I've left a restaurant in vietnam feeling disappointed. I ordered fried tofu, stir fried veggies and brown rice. A few minutes later, the waiter informed me theres no more tofu. So i ordered a steamed mushroom dish. A few minutes later, he said thats also not available, so i asked for mushrooms in a gluten wrap. It wasn't good. The veggie stir fry was yummy. The rice was bland. Price was high as well i felt, especially for the quality.

Pros: The veggie stir fry, The waiter was super friendly and did his best

Cons: Not yummy , Pricey

Not kid friendly

My friend (who has a 2 year olds) and me had dinner at the restaurant. The lady who sitting at the reception was not friendly and looked annoyed by my friend’s child who was playing nearby our table. My friend was looking after her son well and making sure her kid wasn’t disturbing anyone.
We ordered yogurt for dessert and the staff said it was vegan and they used no cow milk. But when they brought the yogurt we suspected that it wasn’t vegan and asked again. This time the staff said the yogurt was made from cow milk and even cheese. We had to re-order another dessert (which they agreed to do so).

Cons: Not kid friendly, Confused explanation of what’s in the food, Some staff were unfriendly

I'm not sure about that. I walked past yesterday and it looks like it's still going.

Disappointing

I heard good reviews about the restaurant and decided to try it out. First of all, there was no english menu and I have to try and figured out the dishes with their poor command of English. Further more, they took such a long time to serve the food, that I was almost late for my next destination. Lastly, they tried to charge me more than what was being served. I have even witnessed a local uncle shouting loudly in Vietnamese at the staff, but the staff do not seem to care, while the rest of the customers has to endure the incessant ranting by the uncle.

Cons: Bad Service, Poor English

Good food

The place is nice, there are lot of people, sometimes it is difficult to have a table. Food is good quality. My friend really like their seitan. Prices are ok but a little bit expensive.

Enjoyable Place

This restaurant is not far from the walking street, so it's very central. It's a nice place that gets busy. I ordered a salad which was a generous portion and I really enjoyed it. The main dish was a bit small, although the rice was portion (ordered additionally) was huge, oddly enough.
Prices are reasonable.
I also ordered a tamarind juice which was an interesting drink. It had peanuts in it and real tamarind pieces, although somewhat too sweet, I had forgotten to ask for no added sugar.
It was an enjoyable experience eating here. Overall, I'd recommend it.

Pros: Nice Setting, Good food at good prices

Cons: Gets crowded, Not all vegan

A handy place vegan backpackers

They have hostel upstairs, and make use the ground floor and 1st floor for restaurants. It's a little small, a lot of fried food. but over all, i like this place, something in the atmosphere, dynamic, young and hearty. Of course, food quality is good. They keep offering many interesting promotion. (Even a 3 day tour for vegetarian to Mui Ne or somewhere similar)

Ok restaurant, but not great

Quite expencive food for avrage taste. There are cheaper and tastier restaurants in Ho Chi Minh City.
Service could be improved, we ordered 2 dishes that we did not even get. One of them was included on the check.

Pros: interior, clean

Cons: expencive, Poor service

3 La Vegetarian, Ho Chi Minh

This is a lacto ovo eatery (not vegan as per the listing categorisation at time of writing). The menu is very extensive. The food is enjoyable (spring rolls, mushroom salad, deep friend cauliflower in bread crumbs in particular I liked of the 5 dishes I shared). I ordered an orange and passion fruit juice to drink. It was very sour which I liked but others may not.

The decor is nice, someone else's drescription of calming is pretty good. No issue with service.

Pros: vegan friendly, Tasty food, Calm atmo
