* Formerly a wine-grower’s mansion, Les Battees stands in its own wooded park overlooking the canal port of St Leger-sur-Dheune. It is situated in beautiful countryside on the main route to Autun, within reach of Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy. Dating from 19th century, the house retains many original features, such as moulded plasterwork on the ceilings, marble fireplaces, and terracotta floor tiles. All rooms have en-suite facilities. Homemade jams and fruit-based desserts offered with breakfast and the Table d’Hôte on the elegant terrace. No pets.

*Situated in beautiful countryside with outstanding views and surrounded by vines, Les Chenes Verts de Gascogne is a large restored 17th century gascony stone farmhouse set in 3 hectares of garden with 4 ensuite bedrooms and swimming pool. Ideally placed for visiting historical sites, tasting wines and armagnac at local domaines, shopping at local markets, house hunting, or just lazing by the pool. The house has a large sitting/dining room in the old Chai with its open fire, terra cotta floor, oak beams and still has the original wine press. Upstairs are 4 ensuite spacious bedrooms furnished with choice of king size or twin double beds. Dinner and breakfast are served in the dining room or in the warmer months outside on the covered terrace. Vegetarian-friendly evening meals all cooked with local produce and served with wine from local domaines.
