Super brunch

Very nice and tasty breakfast in a quiet town not far from München. There is one vegan breakfast, some of the rest with eggs were very tasty.

Amazing for breakfast

The Birchermüsli is so delicious!
I had breakfast here multiple times and it never disappoints.

Additional Vegan or Glutenfree Option

They seem to work on there Menue in the last years. They have a great Vegan breakfast and other dishes. The menue also states Gluten and other possible ingrediens im Regards to allergies

Pros: A Lot of vegan Choices

Cons: Reservation required especially on weekends

tasty and friendly

the waiters/waitresses are very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.
you have inside and outside seating (spring thru autumn/fall) - for smokers outside- they mainly used the front whereas the backyard was factually smokeless. It's not mainly vegan, rather (ovo)lacto-vegetarian (but they don't claim to be vegan only so I don't understand the nagging tone of other commentators). Nice, fresh food, more a café than a restaurant with their adjacent bakery. Sunday Brunch is usually booked (starting 10:00) - better reserve in advance.

Pros: few pure vegan meals, many vegetarian options

still few vegan choices

I like the place, it´s pretty cozy. When I went there in September 2015 they had at least one really tasty vegan choice on the week´s menu, some vegan pasta and vegan porridge for breakfast. For a vegetarian restaurant still pretty poor, but at least increasing.

Pros: cozy, friendly staff

Cons: rather expensive, few vegan options

Not what I had in mind...

Nice and cosy, one of the oldest bakeries around (even for Munich) and feels like a modern museum to eat in. Had many big boards of their family history in the cafe which proudly claims to be vegetarian.

But in the end, they only had one vegan option available which was salad. It took some time until it was clear it was actually 100% vegan due to the dressing. Actually I had more in mind when I've read it's an all vegetarian cafe / bistro.

Most other guests were older people drinking cafe and eating pie.

Pros: Charismatic interior and exterior, all vegetarian...

Cons: ...but no vegan options except salad, seems like cafe and pie only
