I asked Peter Tork at an event in 2011 if he was vegetarian. He said he hasn't been vegetarian for a very long time - decades. I was disappointed, but I still adore him.

I LOVE the Monkees! They totally are a real band, despite what people say. They started out as a TV band but continued making music after the show ended.
