In the 2000s, he became an advocate of environmental protections. Begley Jr. lives in Southern California with his wife. He has produced his own line of eco-friendly, non-toxic household cleaning products called, Begley's Best. He has starred in his own reality show that highlighting his efforts to live a low-impact, earth-friendly life.

I've seen Ed Begley in person once or twice... can't exactly remember where. But I like what he is doing now - promoting green living and earth stewardship. I have bought one of his brand of all-purpose cleaner, and it worked quite well.

He's an incredible human being who lives what he teaches! He puts his money where his mouth is in other words. Gotta love a man who uses a bike to create electricity to toast his bread :)
