Offers a wide range of juices & smoothies made with local and organic ingredients, coffees, vegan cake, vegan pizzas, fruit salads, toasted sandwiches and a large selection of made-in-house ice lollies for hot days. All coffees are organic, fair trade and handpicked in Quillabumba (and toasted in-house) and can be made vegan with soy milk. Owner is a qualified nutritional advisor, a personal trainer and a vegan since 2010.

Pucallpa is a sweltering jungle city in Peru's Amazon Basin, and the only jungle city connected to the rest of Peru by road. One reason to visit is to board a river ferry traveling from Pucallpa to Iquitos and beyond. El Paraiso is a cruelty-free oasis in this fishing town. It offers set meals (soup, entree, drink) for around 9 soles (US$3), and an a la carte menu. Meals are of ample size. The TV is loud. This small restaurant is on the Plaza de Armas, at the back of a walkway. A sign out front points the way.

Clean, simple, vegetarian restaurant. Soy milk, cheese, and yogurt made-in-house on site. Inexpensive set menu (5 soles), as well as seitan and soy dishes such as chicharron and bistek. Open for breakfast and lunch. Located in front of Radio Frontera, take a moto-taxi to Sala Verde / Radio Frontera, five blocks from the Plaza de Armas. Opened in Summer 2011. Feb 2017 reported no longer fully vegan.
