Cheap and good food - Edit
Fair number of vegan/veggie options of standard Indonesian dishes. We got tempeh and tofu curries which were a decent portion and tasted good. Also got fried tempeh. The price is very cheap so not too many complaints. The place did feel a bit grimey though and the staff could be friendlier. It’s a popular place so expect it to get busy!

The Timings
We arrived at 18:30, we wanted to get there early as it seems like a popular place. It took 30 minutes after sitting before we were approached and asked for our order. At least two (that I noticed) other tables arrived after and were served before us. The drinks arrived but we waited until 19:50 for my partner's meal (special kebab) to arrive. My meal (veg fried noodles) took until 20:15 to arrive (immediately after prompting). We noticed some other tables arrived after we ordered and received their meal before ours came.
The Service
There were no greetings, no smiles, no friendliness, which for Indonesia where the service is usually incredible really stands out.

Good, there was a burger, kebab, rice, noodles, soup and probably a couple other items I can't remember

Needed some willpower to eat at this shop, tables were very dirty (i Had an fingernail on the eating table) ... but the Food was Good ✌️🤣 also had no sickness afterwards ... the Fried tempeh was out of this world ❤️

Absolutely amazing food! I had the urap urap and fried tempeh and I was blown away by how good and cheap it was. It’s a small kitchen and they make everything fresh so it does take some time but it’s worth the wait

We ordered the Tempe sandwich and asked if t was vegan, the cook said yes. When it came out it had cheese on it coleslaw mayonnaise and a fried egg. When we said we cannot eat it she suggested to take the non vegan items off. And then when we paid she said we didn’t ask if it was vegan. Really disappointed, the sandwich looked amazing tbh if you are vegetarian. But I don’t feel on my visit they understand the difference between veggie and vegan Maybe down to a language barrier . So we probably won’t eat here again because of this. Chips and banana juice nice and the price is so cheap.

Best Curry on the island - Edit
This place is just awesome. Would give 5 stars if I could! It is by far the best Curry that I had on this island. Well in whole Indonesia to be honest. The portions are big, the prices are very cheap (20.000 rupiahs for the Curry), the staff is friendly, welcoming and knows about veganism. Totally recommend this place. You have to wait a little bit for the food but just because they cook everything fresh. They even went out to buy some Tofu for our dishes. But the wait is definitely worth it. On the menu the dishes aren‘t labeled as vegan but you can ask the staff and they can make some dishes vegan.

This restraurant is so great! would love to give 10 stars. The family running it is really kind! the prices are super cheap! They have big portions! I ate a great vegetarian curry and could almost not finish it for 20k. The quality is really good, because they make everything fresh... so be patient, the waiting is worth it!!

The food here is delicious! Ada is so welcoming and the food is super tasty and cheap. I failed to specify when I ordered the Tempe burger that I didn't want animals on it, so if you order make sure to specify no mayonnaise, cheese or egg. I'll be eating there for the remainder of my trip :)
