Economic Bee Hoon / Rice, Some Zichar-Style Dishes & Double Boiled Soups

Vegetarian stall in KKH food court~ Apart from the more typical economic bee hoon / rice sets available till 2pm ($4.90-$5.90), they also have sets of zichar-style dishes along with daily soups available from 2pm to 8pm ($9.90). I had the Kung-Pao Chicken Vegetarian Meat which was cooked on the spot by a friendly guy! He assured me that the dish didn’t contain egg or dairy. But I think the stall does serve eggs as an add-on dish, so it’s probably best to verify when ordering if you have specific dietary requirements, as I understand their other outlets are not fully vegan. Nonetheless glad to have a legit vegetarian stall in KKH now; I was ever here for some time because of a loved one’s stay and it was a struggle to find food then.

Well-balanced soup

I had the old cucumber soup which was well-balanced, tasty, well-seasoned without being too salty. I like their use of mushroom stalk as the "mock meat", which has nice fragrance & texture.
