A delightful surprise in a difficult area - Edit
Trying to find vegan options in South Tyrol/Alto-Adige has been difficult. Despite not having anything labelled as such on their menu, the staff were helpful and provided good choices. They removed the parmesan cheese on the marinara pizza (and the bill - €7.50 each) and had a great salad bar (€6 per bowl). We went back for more the following evening and had mushrooms with our pizza and a side of fries. Good value, good quality and a cosy restaurant.

Read moreI have severe allergy to fish, shellfish and molluscs. (Which is the reason I first became vegan, though I now have a lot more). They were quite sure that it wouldn’t be a problem
They made a pizza without the cheese and put some olives on it as an extra
They gave us a discount for the cheese we hadn’t had, which was a lovely surprise
Will probably go back for the third evening in a row tomorrow!

im in town for a conference and am really struggling to find vegan options. of the three restaurants i visited, this was the only one that told me their pizza dough is vegan (which is very confusing to me because why wouldn’t it be vegan??). the server was very kind and helpful. i had the marinade pizza (with the chili oil, as the other reviewer suggested!) and it was excellent. it was also the first real meal ive eaten in 2 days so i may be biased. they also discounted me from the parmigiana i didn’t want, which is rare!

Best Pizza in Town 🍕💛 - Edit
We have tried a few places, but this one we like the most. They have a great old stone build interior & offer a great pizza selection. The Marinara is vegan by default & others on the menu can be served vegan. Staff is friendly & can assist with vegan choices. They also offer complementary olive oil & chilli oil - try on your pizza when there. (;
