Farm fresh and sooo good 🌿 - Edit
I wish I could try the whole menu! They have everything from coffee and smoothies/shakes to stews and bowls. We got the kidney bean stew with house-made bread and the seitan cordon bleu — both delicious.

Delightful - Edit
My partner and I both ordered the seitan cordon bleu and we both loved it! Also tried the three dips starter which we enjoyed. We went for dinner on a Saturday and they were out of many menu items which makes sense because ingredients come fresh each day. The servers were friendly and the ambiance quite nice. Very cool that they grow the majority of the food they serve including the soybeans for their tofu. Highly recommend this place!

amazing food - Edit
I thought the food here was incredible and my Croatian friend was really excited to try a vegan lunch, this was the perfect place for her to try. I got the seitan cordon bleu which was incredible! She got some pasta with what I think was a beet root sauce on it, it was quite good. We also got a chocolate cake that was so light, fluffy, moist and honestly refreshing. It was an incredible experience. We also got sweet potato fries and kombucha, everything was great! We made a reservation but it was pretty quiet when we went for lunch. They also make sandwiches that you can buy in Bio&bio stores around Croatia. They're my go to for a quick lunch on the go.

Good lunch menu - Edit
This restaurant has a great varied menu during lunch times, it changes every day and is both healthy & tasty. Count with quite a long waiting time when the place gets busy though.
Read moreWhen it comes to the rest of the menu, the dishes are rather simple (the kind of thing you can easily make at home)
They have quite a big variety of desserts and juices/ smoothies/ warm drinks.
Pros: The lunch varied dishes
Cons: Rather simple dishes

From the craft beers to the tofu that is made in a farm nearby, it’s a really nice discovery 💡

The vegetables with my breaded tofu were ecellent. I took a extra sauce for the tofu. The starter was really huge - its better to share it.

Fantastic vegan macrobiotic food - Edit
One of the best vegan food restaurants I’ve tried in Zagreb. They serve a variety of fresh, organic dishes, and they all look too good, so it was a hard decision to make, but I went with the daily macro plate, and I couldn’t be happier. The place has a really nice atmosphere and a lovely terrace. Would definitely recommend it!

Fresh, beautiful food. - Edit
The concept of Zrno is great - everything is grown or made locally. You can really tell the ingredients are of a high quality. The staff were very friendly too and the ambiance of the restaurant was top notch.
Read moreI had the udon noodles which came with crispy tempura on top, this was all delicious and very filling. As a starter I had the yasai sticks which looked so cute I did not want to eat them - but when I did I loved how fresh they were and the dipping sauce was lovely.

Good for lunch, cake and dinner! - Edit
We went there two times because it was so good. We had the Gomoku, the Protein Power (it was actually only protein, not a lot of carbs), the udon soup, the greenpeace pasta and the crostata cake. I would recommend every dish!

Good options available - Edit
The price is fair and the portions are big. My only dislike were the sides: the "salad" was essentially lettuce and the sweet potatoes fries were overcooked. Otherwise very recommended.

Simply the best! - Edit
Possibly my favorite restaurant. I first came here because of a tip from a local Vegan. They serve good wholesome food which inspires me in my own cooking. I have been known to plan a layover in Zagreb just to eat at Zrno. Gomoku is my favorite, but I‘ve liked everything so far.
Read moreThe desserts are not very sweet. Especially the cakes are different than you might expect, since the toppings are made with agar agar and have a distinct consistency which is not at all creamy. I prefer the pudding (Bio Kiss).

Excellent !!! - Edit
A tester absolument 🙂

We loved visiting Zrno Bio Bistro.
Read moreThe food is awesome and the seating area is very comfy and stylish. The staff were lovely as well!
Contrary to one of the other posts, we loved the Cordon Bleau. It was not hard at all, but especially tender for Seitan!
All of the other food we had was also great and the cakes are delicious as well.
If we come back to Zagreb, we will definitely visit again!

Nice organic restaurant, but didn't meet expectations - Edit
I enjoyed the atmosphere, plates look really tasty and healthy.
Read moreI was very excited to try seitan cordon bleu rolls but I was a little disappointed. It was hard to chew so I needed to cut very small pieces but it was hard to cut too. I don't know if it was overfried. I liked the combination of strong rolls flavour on one hand and on the other hand greens that are not seasoned.
Their bread is something that you simply have to try!
I tried three cakes - not worth it. Cakes are very poorly made, as you can see on the chocolate one that the batter is not mixed well, cake is dry and filling had odd taste (bitter, sour and had texture).
If I go next time I'll skip the desert and try more combinations with bread!
I saw quite a few reviews saying it's too expensive but it costs way more money for basic lunch in mediocre omnivore restaurant. This restaurant has a story, farm, food is local and organic. Maybe up to 10% more than other vegan restaurants.
Pros: Organic, local food, Atmosphere, colorful plates, Amazing bread
Cons: Hard seitan, Looks better than it tastes, Don't eat cake!
