In DuPont Circle, there are a couple places for falafel and hummus- Zorba's is a good old school establishment that has held its ground here as a decent choice. The decor is older, but you get what you pay for in the food.
The food is satisfying and conveniently marked on the menu for dietary needs- V for vegetarian and DF for dairy free, so you need both as a vegan. Soups, salads and dips will be your smorgasbord here! White beans, chick peas and eggplant, lentils and tabouleh are all plentiful in soups, dips and salads. No vegan dessert. Falafel is alright here, and grape leaves are standard style. You'll have food to eat, but nothing to rave about.

Falafel not vegan - Edit
Falafel has eggs.
Read moreMark vegetarian and dairy free. However since falafel has egg and potato dish too- it’s minimal options.
