Nothing special - Edit
I asked the waiter if he could recommend something vegan and ended up with a salad and stuffed zucchini. It was not bad but nothing special and in the end I was still hungry (they didn't even serve bread with it). We were sitting inside and the music was so loud that we could barely talk. However, when they saw that we were taking pictures of our food, one of the waiters directly approached us and asked us to give them a 5* review on Google.

A great find! - Edit
Great understanding of vegan, with a few different options given. I had stuffed zucchini which was lovely, and we shared bruschetta which was adapted and made without cheese. The owner was so friendly and hospitable, we enjoyed hearing about the history of the restaurant and his grandparents home. Highly recommend!

A beautifully furnished restaurant beside the river in the historic Mangalem quarter. - Edit
A very obliging waiter with good English advised us what was vegan on the menu. As an appetizer, he brought us pickled vegetables on the house. The two of us shared stuffed eggplant and stuffed pepper. The latter contains rice, so if you combine these two meals, you get a starchy side dish as well as veggies. Everything was tasty, though less tasty than in the other two restaurants we visited in Berat (Friendly House and Temi Albanian Food). Tea was served in a too small cup. In case you’re wondering about protein: We didn’t encounter any plant protein sources on any traditional restaurant menu in Albania.

good place here (also for vegans) - Edit
It’s a nice place. We preferred the inside seating as it was very hot outside.
Read moreThey have a few vegan options such as baked veggies but also pasta and risotto.
The food was nicely decorated and tasted well.

Solid food, multiple vegan options - Edit
Ordered the pasta, stuffed peppers, and grilled vegetables. Portions were filling and food was pretty good. Only issue is there were a lot of flies inside where we were seated. They didn’t bother us while eating but not great…

Very Vegan Friendly. - Edit
The waiter Dion spoke excellent english and knew vegan. We ordered stuffed peppers, salad, and dessert. All delicious. Went back again next afternoon and had plain pasta with roasted vegetables on the side that we put on our pasta. Wow!!

more like 3.5, but 3 stars feels too stingy - Edit
really cute restaurant with a lovely waiter who knew what vegan meant (always a relief.) i sat inside near the air-con but there are also outside seats overlooking the road next to the river.
Read morei got the green salad which was meant to come with onion but it just came with lemon, olives and lettuce. bit strange but still nice (apparently the cook forgot the onion?) i also had the stuffed pepper which was nice, and a nice portion size for once (i’ve noticed some other restaurants are super stingy with stuffed peppers/aubergine but not this one.) the bread was good and the coffee also. in my opinion it’s also really good value.

Good food, good environment - Edit
The place itself has a really good environment. The food was good, I ate the grilled veggies but the stuffed peppers looked amazing.
Read moreThere's quite a few veggie options and some vegan traditional food and some salads that can be made vegan if asked.
The staff is not the best at speaking english but they try their best, there's at least one person there who speaks english.
