I didn't enjoy the pizzas I had here - Edit
I've been here three times now when invited as part of a group to friends' events. I've only tried the pizzas.
Read moreFirst visit I ordered a pizza with vegan cheese. The pizza was covered with a very thick, greasy layer of this white stuff. It tasted strong and I found it unpleasant. It had also made the base wet. I didn't manage to finish that pizza.
My second visit I decided to skip the vegan cheese and asked for a pizza with tomato sauce and mushrooms. The large pizza arrived with a light coating of tomato sauce and about five little mushroom slices on it - about a tablespoon of mushrooms in total. That was all the toppings I got.
The third time I emphasised to the server I wanted to replace the cheese with mushrooms and needed a reasonable amount, but it came out with the same very small amount of mushrooms.
Pros: Nice decor, Good location on High St., My friend's non-vegan pizzas looked ok
Cons: Vegan cheese wasn't nice, Quantity of vegetable toppings is extremely small

I was amazed by the vegan menu and really enjoyed my vegan pizza . However, our waitress was very rushed, not really listening, not attentive and as a result we weren’t able to order dessert. What a shame.

Highly Recommend- Book a table NOW! - Edit
When we went, we asked for the vegan menu and I was amazed at all the choices! For starter we had vegan garlic bread, which came out with a little green sticker where I guess they had made an effort to keep it separate. For main we had the vegan pizza, where you could choose three different toppings- they were one of the best pizzas we'd ever tasted. Finally for dessert we had a delicious chocolate torte that was to die for. It was not overly expensive, and Zizzis tend to do a deal in the week too. The staff were so lovely, we've already been back!

Great Italian place for vegan food - Edit
Reasonably sophisticated but not expensive Italian restaurant. Great choice on separate vegan menu including vegan mozzarella on pizzas. Most wine is vegan too. Really helpful polite staff. Can't rate enough (but you can only give a max of 4 stars to vegan places - why???)
