Really happy to find this - Edit
We were in Leeds and needed somewhere to go for lunch so I looked on Happy Cow. This was nearby and reviews were good so went in. The welcome was immediate and warm. There were vegan options on the menu so I had options of a couple of starters and 2 or 3 mains including a pizza. I chose soul breads for a starter and a vegan pizza as a main. Both were great. Nick who was front of house and serving was brilliant - lovely, friendly manner. I know it’s a chain but I was really pleased and would certainly go back

Underwhelming - Edit
I find chain restaurants like this can be a bit hit and miss but I had a Tesco voucher so I thought I'd give it a go. The restaurant itself was nice and they had a decent variety of vegan options on the menu (although my wife says there used to be a lot more). We went for a Rustica Fable Shittake ‘Shroom Pizza and a Vegan Rainbow Lasagna. I was a bit taken aback by the prices – mains were around £17 which seemed a lot for a chain restaurant. When the food arrived and the server realised we were sharing he offered to get us another plate to help with splitting it up. I asked if it could be warm (so the food wouldn't cool down as soon as we put it on it) and he said of course. He then came back about a minute later with a cold plate. Not a big deal but it just felt a bit sloppy and uninterested.
Read moreI found the food itself uninspiring. The pizza was an okay size but sparsely decorated with the toppings and just didn't have a lot of flavour. The lasagna was tasty but I wasn't blown away and I didn't think it was worth the hefty pricetag. We also got a little bowl of pasta crisps for free when we arrived which was a nice gesture, but they were pretty tasteless.
Without my voucher our bill would've come to £37 (without service charge) for two mains and one Coca-Cola which is just way too much for the quality of food compared to what you can get elsewhere, so I wouldn't recommend coming here.
Pros: Nice restaurant, Lasagna was pretty tasty, Tesco Clubcard vouchers can be used here
Cons: Overpriced, Underwhelming food

Decent vegan menu - Edit
Decent choice of vegan dishes on a separate vegan menu including desserts. Service is not great though.

Standard zizzis experience - Edit
Good selection of vegan options for both mains and dessert (as with all zizzis) though my pizza was a little smaller than usual.

Good vegan menu, great service - Edit
Went there on a Saturday night, the restaurant was really busy. Service was still very good, fast and very friendly. The place has a nice atmosphere. The vegan menu has a nice variety of different dishes. Had a vegan pizza which was very, very delicious. Overall a highly recommended place.

Easy Zizzi - Edit
Visiting a Zizzi’s before, I knew it would be a safe place to eat for vegan options. Unfortunately a few items on our order were missed, the waitress seemed a little flustered, however the food that arrived was tasty as usual!
Read moreAs well as the vegan menu, they're more than happy to veganise items on their menu (where possible, so if you fancy a pizza that catches your eye, but it's just vegetarian, you can simply swap for a cruelty free alternative topping!).
I hope the waitress was okay, things happen, so that won’t affect my rating on this Zizzi’s venue, I’m very pleased with their vegan menu!
Pros: Dedicated vegan menu, Easily veganisable options, Very tasty!
Cons: Communication issues.

Awesome new vegan options! - Edit
We've been to other zizis before, it's great they've expanded their vegan menu - you have to request this menu.

Not too bad - Edit
I ate from the specific vegan/dairy free menu. They couldn't do one of the options which was disappointing bearing in mind the menu is small anyway. The vegan pizza is a nice option but the cheese is strange, sort of gloopy. Made a nice change to have similar food to my friends!

Vegan Options - Edit
Had a quick lunch here last Summer whilst staying at the Radisson in The Light so literally it was just a case of checking out and then checking in. Great location, nice interior and friendly staff. Now they have a separate vegan menu you don't need to query anything or double check your order. Chains aren't my first choice when it comes to vegan dining but there's always a time and a place to fit one in.

Cons: Bit too bright inside
