Family Friendly - Edit
In Cardiff on a Friday night with two young kids and was delighted to find excellent vegan choices and still good choices for the rest of my omni family. Staff were really helpful and kids genuinely loved their meals. Vegan pizza and pasta options were great and the calzone pud with vegan gelato was top dog...

Whole vegan menu - Edit
Their vegan pizzas are wicked - 'cheese' is really tasty. Be sure to ask for the vegan menu as there's a separate one!

Lifesaver - Edit
I arrived in Cardiff around lunchtime & this was the only place I found with vegan options near the Castle & city centre. They have vegan pizzas, lentil based pasta, vegan wines and a few vegan desserts (gelato & calzone). Unfortunately they don't have alternative milks if you wanted to have a cappuccino but other than that it's good place for a vegan Italian lunch!

Cons: No alternative milks, Not many unprocessed options , Serves non-veggie dishes

Prepare to be disappointed - Edit
We booked a table for Zizzi in St Mary Street, based on the advertised vegan menu. When we got there they had run out of vegan cheese and so two of the four mains were not available. As this is key to the pizzas it seems more than remiss. Perhaps when booking it also necessary to ask what parts of the menu will be available.

Cons: Essential ingredient missing., Seating for the convenience of staff

Good food - Edit
I ate here with 3 omnivores, and it was good to have the separate vegan menu. There are vegan starters, mains and desserts. I had the pizza which comes with vegan mozzarissela (the cheese made with rice milk) + extra toppings, and a nectarine dessert with vegan ice cream. THe waitress said she was vegan as she asked me if I'd enjoyed the pizza!

Busy, and a bit slow as they didn't have lots of staff, but handy place to go with non-veg*n friends in a city.
Pros: Vegan menu, Discounts
Cons: Not huge choice of main dishes
