Good choices, good food - Edit
I was really impressed with the range of options here - all of the nibbles were vegan (pasta crisps, olives and breads and hummus), multiple starters (garlic bread, bruschetta and meatless meatballs), both pizzas and pastas available for mains and two desserts. We shared some garlic bread to start which was lovely and then I went for the vegan lasagne which I'd really recommend. Not a traditional meaty flavour at all but lovely rich comforting layered pasta, full of vegetables, rich tomato sauce a lovely cheesy top and delicious pesto. Thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely go back to try the pizza which reads really well and one of the desserts.

Sorry, couldn't think of a better title. Review actually refers to the newly opened one in the revamped odyssey, but it's a chain so assuming much the same.
Read moreI really liked it. Menu was pretty extensive for a chain. Zizzi is basically fresh or healthy Italian. It's a chain or franchise, so should get consistent experience across the whole lot. Got the pasta crisps and the vegan lentil Ragu which I really enjoyed. Nice mix of subtle vegetable taste. Almost sweet potato-y. Impressed with the kids stuff too. Menu looked very extensive and the dish came out with a sticker on it announcing it as vegan to cut down on any confusion.
Pretty quickly served despite the place being slammed.

Zizzi is the same everywhere, so if you're looking for something to suit vegans and Omni's alike it's a safe option. We found the staff friendly here, if a little slow to serve. I got a nice rustica pizza, minus the vegan cheese as I'm not a fan of the way it sticks to your teeth. It was fine, nice crispy crust and lovely fresh basil. I do find Zizzi a bit expensive nowadays compared to similar chain restaurants, but it's good for an occasional meal.

On entering the first question was "do you have any allergies", I said "no, but I'm dairy-free..." at which point he cut me off with a snort of derision and said "so you do have allergies!" Got worse from there, some items not available, then waited for aaages only to be presented with a non-vegan pizza. The servers seemed harrassed and irritated so we just left.

They has a vegan lasagna specially for veganuary which we loved, and their vegan cheesy garlic bread was very yummy. The ragu pasta was not my favourite but my partner loved it so it was great!

Great vegan food, mixed experiences - Edit
I was a regular customer in Zizzi for a long time because of their excellent vegan menu. I now find myself going less and less because I've had some poor experiences recently. I still enjoy the food and I always understand that restaurants have bad days where service isn't 100% but this seems to be becoming a regular occurrence there. The past few times I have been, the staff have been slow, forgetful and don't seem very aware of offers and products. As well as this, I went with my vegetarian sister a few months ago and she was given mushroom risotto with chicken in it. The manager was extremely apologetic, took the risotto off the bill and offered my sister drinks and dessert to apologise for the incident. While mistakes are easily made, this one was quite major and upsetting for my sister.

Delicious Vegan Pizza! - Edit
This is a really wonderful restaurant. Has a separate vegan menu on request. Staff are so friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself is very nice and has a relaxed atmosphere. The food is delicious, the vegan pizza is second to none, and the vegan bruschetta is delicious. The garlic bread is also wonderful, and they even have 2 vegan desserts (dessert calzone is amazing). Soy milk is available for coffee and tea.

Delicious vegan pizza with vegan cheese! The staff was so helpful and friendly both on the phone and in person. Note that the restaurant is on level 1 1/2 (between 1 & 2) in a mid-level of the shopping center (like an open air mall). Recommended!
