Wish it had flavour

Sadly the char kway teoh was a letdown. It looked good, with the traditional char marks, but sadly there was no flavour, very lacklastre.

Fantastic find

Came across this place by chance, and what a find!

Plenty of vegan options, we couldn’t turn down trying the vegan set menu not at all disappointing, the vegan bbq pork and the “fish” in satay sauce where some of the best dishes I’ve had.

Loved this place and cant wait to come back and try more of their many more vegan options!

Pros: Plenty choices , Great flavours , Cheap prices

Cons: Some dishes on set menu it great

Affordable set menu

Stopped in for dinner. There is a reasonably long vegan menu and a vegan set menu which we went with - $70 for two people. This was a pretty decent price for the amount of food we got. The salt and pepper eggplant was the highlight, and the satay fish, spring rolls and BBQ pork were all enjoyable. The vegetable fried rice didn't have much flavour unfortunately. Worth a try if you're looking for somewhere new in Newtown.

Good taste, large portions

The dishes come with generous portions, even though they skimp a bit on the vegan fish/pork. Everything tasted pretty good, fair price, pretty ambiance, lots of vegan options. The vegan fish stir fry tasted really good, the bbq pork fried rice just had very few pieces of pork, but also good. I want to try the char kway teow next time.

Pros: Good taste, Many vegan options, Good price

Cons: Much more veggies than mock meats
