disappointed - Edit

i was really looking forward to eating here so i brought the wife there on a friday at 11:50 when we get there but i thought , no problem, we can fight the lunch crowd and be home by 2pm...so we pull up and as luck would have it theres no one there and i think great we can get food before the mob arrives and the wife says "thats a bad sign"
we walk in anyway to find no one the but a janitor sweeping that seems to ignore us, then after 5 minutes he notices weve sat down at a table and looked surprised and startled at our presence and ask what we were doing there. "were looking for lunch?" i say to which he happily responded to and rushed to start.Mack was his name. very nice guy... well no one else showed up, but it took an hour to get our food during which the "owner" an equally friendly chubby, stained shirt guy that proceded to talk about tuna meat and bacon to which i respond "is this place vegan"??? he assures us it is so we get our food to go as theres no place to eat...we both got the spiced flat bread and it was pretty bad...the wife hated it and i ate it again for dinner and regreted it with heartburn. i drive by there alot and never see anyone there but still want to try the scramble

Pros: no one there, no one will ever see you, great place to hide if you are in the WRP

Cons: lousy food, the food, eating there

Good atmosphere - Edit

We arrived on the evening before they closed for several weeks over the holiday and had very little food in stock. Looked like a great spot for vegan fare and groceries. Will look forward to trying it on a future visit. Call before you go to be sure of schedule. Gave 4 stars for the concept and funky atmosphere!

Pros: All vegan

Cons: Check schedule

Cookies!! - Edit

What a great little find! Decided to do a quick pop in to see the pastry's and it smelled so good in there! The owner was very friendly and informative. We got a pumpkin cookie and a maple pecan. Both were great. They also serve biscuits and gravy for 2.50 on the weekends! What a deal! Definitely have to go back to try those out!

Pros: 100% vegan

Tricky to find but oh so worth it - Edit

This place is located in what appears to be a housing district and i almost missed it my first time visiting. When i visited they had a fantastic potato curry with just the right amount of spice. I also opted for their jackfruit street tacos which was very tasty. Dat curry tho oh man. These guys grind their own grains and i really enjoyed the cookies and muffins that are the result of such effort.

Pros: Very nice staff and and a bit of a hidden gem so n

Cons: Tricky to find but worth it.

Amazing food & such a welcoming atmosphere! - Edit

We got some delicious, perfectly ripe oranges and some ginger bok choy as well. The owner couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Such friendly people! You will not regret stopping here. It's a must! The food is the best we've had on our trip and you can't find fresher produce at any store around.

VIsited for Sat Breakfast - Edit

Had the pancakes which were very flavorful and filling
Also tried an English muffin & Pumpkin cookie both very good
It was early Sat, small group ahead of me, but I was greeted and could place my order quickly.
Answered all my questions, and didn't take too long
And I got a lot of food for $8
The (recycled paper?) container kept the cakes warm all the way back home
I will check it out again when i am in that part of town
Only drawback was a limited menu

Pros: Taste & Flavors, Great prices, Friendly, Helpful Staff

Tiny, cute, and amazing! - Edit

Came here with my vegan girlfriend for a late breakfast. Biscuits and gravy were amazing as were the Nepali potatoes, they were cooked whole. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We will for sure be back again.

An eclectic place with delicious food - Edit

It's a very small place with very limited indoor seating but many seating options outside. The decor outside is eclectic with plants and herbs growing in pots and a garden-y feel.

I got the buckwheat pancakes with Earth Balance, pecans, and a fruit compote as well as a side of the potatoes. The pancakes where slightly crispy on the outside with a soft, tender center and the pecans folded into the batter. The compote was sweet and had cinnamon for flavor. Very tasty!

My companion had the biscuits and gravy and a side of potatoes. The biscuit was warm and flaky and the gravy was thick, savory, and featured fresh herbs. The dish was an excellent take on a classic.

We both agreed that the potatoes were absolutely delicious. They were slightly crunchy on the outside with a firm bite and creamy almost to the point of being buttery on the inside. They were mouth-watering and filling.

The gentlemen working was extremely friendly and helpful. He even offered to put NPR on the speakers so we could listen while we ate outside. The prices were very, very reasonable and the breakfast menu was a la carte which provided the opportunity to mix and match dishes and sides.
