Ms.

They have an attractive policy of 'order now, pay later'. They are also attentive to detail and strive to make every diner's dining experience a pleasant one. #Veganuary

Pros: Politeness, 'Order now, Pay later' policy

Comfort food

Love their wanton mee and lor mee. Stir fried dishes not oily so feels more home-cooked style. Like their luo han guo and chrysanthemum tea too, not diluted nor tastes too sweet unlike some places.

Accepts GrabPay.

Great variety of food, impatient staff when crowded, especially female cashier.

Good selection of dishes, no eggs, noisy interiors despite multiple renovations. Staff appears flustered and impatient with slow eating customers, especially my mum. Slow service during peak periods

Pros: Affordable , Large quantity of carbo

Cons: Noisy interiors , Narrow seating

Nice food

One of the frequent eateries for my family of non-vegetarian as they loved some of the food here. Good value for money.

Pros: Love the Steamed “Soon Hock” - family favorite, Love the 4 heavenly king vegetables , Love the Lion Mane Mushroom gong bao style

Cons: Peak period crowd during weekends, Can be noisy when big groups indoor

Food not bad, but the company lack of integrity.

If you already booked tables from them, later if someone book with CNY Set, they will give them priority, in other words, they cancelled your booking.

Next, the day I booked was before CNY season, and they wanted to charge me extra 30%.

Go for the Fish & Chips and Bak Kut Teh

Ordered Olive fried rice and sambal Petai via Food Panda. Disappointed with the Olive fried rice, bland and oily.
Sambal Petai edible.

Previously I ordered their Fish & Chips and Nasi Lemak, both good!!!

Nice wanton mee

I wasn't expecting anything from this well-patronised vegetarian eatery so the wanton mee really surprised me. The star of the show has got to be the rich savory sauce. I opted for a spicy version (not explicitly stated in the menu; you've got to request for it) which delivered just the right amount of spice and kick. The wanton was forgettable but the mildly sweet mock char siew added extra interest to the dish. The portion of wanton mee was rather generous and it came with some leafy greens as well.

The cold teas are sweetened. If you're like me who prefers unsweetened teas, this is not for you.

I visited on a Sunday late morning. I would recommend to avoid peak hours (lunch time)

Pros: Good value for money.

Is a surprise to find another cosy vegetarian eatery serving delicious affordable vegetarian meal

The wonderful thing is having Bosses who are Vegetarian, no worries about lunch. Our boss is a Vegetarian and he brought us to this wonderful cosy vegetarian eatery for lunch.

Affordable delicious vegetarian food that is friendly to the pocket, Zi Char’s pricing. In a cosy, clean and comfortable air conditioning environment, I like the interior décor. You can find most of the classic vegetarian dishes here.

I like the Rendang Curry, Yam Ring and Egg Plant Dishes, the most.

Zichar style veggie food!

Ordered three dishes with rice 1. Kungpao Monkey Head Mushroom. I like monkey head mushroom so I ordered this. It came out more sweet than spicy. Would prefer it to taste spicy but still enjoyed the mushroom 💕 2. Curry rendang - lots of mock meat which my Friend said it feels like satay. Would probably order the curry veggie next time since I’m not a fan of mock meat :p 3. Cereal tofu - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside! Yumm

Pros: Lots of variety and choices! , The tofu was good!

Cons: Water is chargeable so bring your own water! (: , Brown rice a little hard

Good variety, good food!

Was pleasantly surprised by the good variety offered in the menu! Despite the location being not too accessible, there was still a crowd during lunch! We loved the rojak (the rojak sauce was super legit and lit) and sambal petai fried rice! But a must-order here is definitely the organic soya bean milk which almost every table had! It was so thick, so rich, so wholesome! Must-try! 👍

Pros: good variety, affordable prices, delicious wholesome food!

Cons: relatively inaccessible (nearest MRT station: AMK)

Not bad

Was here around 4pm on a weekday and the place wasn’t too crowded.

Food isn’t too bad, I had the Ipoh hor fun.
The Ipoh hor fun consist of thin white flat rice noodles, shredded mocked chicken, beansprouts and caixin vegetable in gravy. The gravy isn't too salty, and portion is just right.
They also have Bak Chor Mee noodles that is only available during breakfast.

Pros: variety, fast

Cons: quite far from the nearest MRT

No bad experience for us

We went there during weekday for lunch. We had 2 adults, 2 children and a baby pram. The restaurant was quite quiet, only 4- 5 tables with guests. The guy who served us was the owner of the restaurant. He was friendly and patience with us. We ordered fried wanton (SGD 4, 8 pcs, taste so so) and 3 other noodle dishes. They all taste ok, each at SGD 4. The waitress who served us were friendly too, but the cashier (the wife of the owner) seems a bit grumpy. Drink is at around SGD 2 each. The dinning area is clean, toilet is the coffee shop style, but still looked clean. In general, the experience was pleasant.

Pros: Price, Food

Cons: -

Went there yesterday

Went there yesterday with family, staff was not friendly. We ordered 16 individual dishes like Wan Ton noddle, Hor Fan, Noddle etc (no drinks due to its price). When we paid at the counter, the boss said," Near Chinese New Year, why you guys only order individual dishes only, should order ala carte, why so stingy?" Customers have the right to order whatever they like....poor attitude, won't recommend this to anyone. Vegetarianism is about compassionate....don't feel it here, not from their food nor from their attitude. was thinking of buying some vegetarian ba kua from them, but was not happy after the stingy remarks, so we just left after paying.

Pros: Aircond

Cons: attitude

fish n chip

The 'fish n chip' taste excellent...the 'fish' is different from other stall. The wanton there is excellent but the soup taste cover the wanton taste. Chicken rice taste good as the rice not too oily but 'chicken' given too little n ginger given too much.

Pros: lots of other choice

Cons: salad cream doesn't match the vegetables, not easy to find carpark
