镇斋素食 serves cooked various vegan food from economic rice and bee hoon, to curry puff and spring rolls, from kway chap and gu lou yok to vege chicken drumstick rice and Peking duck rice. Mr. Tan operates the stall at Jurong East hawker centre while Mrs. Tan operates the stall at Yung Shen Food Court (with air-con). No egg, milk, or garlick/onion family plants( 植物五辛： 蔥、蒜、韭、蕎及興渠). Open Tue-Sun 5:30am-1:30pm.

Friendly staff, healthy and inexpensive food - Edit
Mr Tan and a few helpers man this corner stall at the Jurong East hawker centre. In the morning, I like to buy curry puff, spring roll, tapioca cake and fried mug bean cake. They are tasty and not too oily. Sometimes, I order fried bee hoon/yellow turmeric rice with seaweed, curry mutton and other dishes.
What touches me most is that Mr Tan will not charge the needy when they come to his stall to order food.
Pros: a short walk from Chinese Garden MRT Stn, good value for money, less oily food
