Falafel pita was good - Edit
Falafel pita was good...it’s unbelievably filling. It automatically comes with garlic mayo/tahini sauce so ask for the tahini if you’re vegan/lactose intolerant. The only criticism would be that the falafel can be be dry towards the end.
Read moreThe staff were really friendly and attentive. They were not over bearing either which we’ve found in some restaurants.

Great to eat hummus after 4 months! - Edit
The mezze platter was really nice after a few weeks of Vietnamese food. First time we ate hummus in 4 months! So nice! Didn't love the vegan pide. I would opt for another dish next time, like the Tajine.

Really good if you want a break from Vietnamese food! - Edit
We had the Tajine and the falafel sandwich (ask and they will change the sauce to make it vegan) both really good! Nice friendly staff who understand the difference between vegan and vegetarian

Good Middle Eastern food! - Edit
If you like to eat something different than Vietnamese try this Middle Eastern cuisine! It is really flavourful. Lots of vegan options. Try their vegan tajine, it is really filling and nice with pita bread!

We tried their hummus (was a bit sour), pita bread and lentil soup. Food was okay, but nothing special.

Good portion sizes - Edit
Was a nice change from the local food. The falafel sandwich was really yum and I asked them to make it vegan which they did. The lentil soup was also yum but I wanted to dip my sandwich in it but I don’t think the new waitress understood. Nice though, would recommend!

One of the most amazing restaurants to eat for vegetarians and vegans in Hoi An - Edit
I love to try different cuisines but Middle Eastern cuisine is one of my favourite ones. I decided to try Zeytun restaurant based on that and i am so glad i came here. There are many many options for both vegetarians and vegans. I have tried hummus, falafel (vegan) and hachapuri (sort of cheese pizza, vegetarian) and all was amazing. The place is very cozy and clean. I loved the Middle Eastern decor. Syrongly recommend Zeytun restaurant

Nice change from the local food - Edit
Quite liked the falafel sandwich. Not the best I've had, as the falafel was a bit dry. But definitely a good option, if you'd like a change from all of the rice and banh mi :). Good portion size too.

Go elsewhere for good Middle Eastern food - Edit
I really wanted to like this restaurant as I was in the mood for some good Middle Eastern food. But this was not the place to come for it. A friend and I shared a falafel sandwich and the lentil soup. The soup, a thin puree, was pretty flavorless. The falafel was way overcooked, they were hard and crunchy and hard to eat.
Read moreIt was good that we scrutinized our bill, they added a beer that we didn't have. The server was new on the job, sweet and attentive.
All in all, if you want good Middle Eastern food I would suggest you look for another restaurant.
Pros: Location in Old Town
Cons: A bit pricey, Food didn't have much flavor and/or was overcooked

Falafel and hummus here is absolutely to die for - Edit
First i was in the branch in Ho Chi Minh city and they told me that have another branch in Hoi An. We came today for a lunch and ordered Meze plate and falafel sandwich and this was something to die for. If you are vegan make sure to tell them to serve you with vegan dip, otherwise by default I think they give garlic sauce

Terrible service - Edit
Went here last night and while the food was ok the service was terrible. We waited for an hour having to repeat our order three times and then only part of our order turned up. Three other groups of people that turned up before after us were serviced and left before we got all our food. They barely apologised. The food was not worth the awful experience. Would not recommend.

Amazing - Edit
We ordered the hummus, baba ganoush, and the pide pizza. AMAZING!!! Best baba ganoush I have ever tasted and great hummus (which I have really missed since being in Vietnam and not many places serve it!) Staff very friendly and made it all vegan for us.

First time amazing second time not impressed - Edit
We came here with a big group when it first opened and were all really happy with our dishes. One said the Tagine was tasteless but everyone else liked the food. My partner and I went back a week later and I ordered the grilled vegetables - really disappointing. So oily and half the plat was onion and tomato. Ordered fries to get with it but they were grim - like 2am desperate drunk fries. Partner ordered falafel sandwich and asked for it to be vegan. Came with a sauce that we later discovered was not vegan at all. Be very careful with allergies and double check.

INCREDIBLE DINNER. SO DELICIOUS AND FILLING - Edit
My partner and I came to Zeytun for dinner and had such a fantastic meal. The serving sizes are huge, the ingredients are fresh, and the service was attentive and kind. The menu has items for vegans, vegetarians, and carnivores and offers many vegan options. We ordered the falafel sandwich and the babaganoush and were beyond delighted with the plates we were presented. The location is central and easy to find and the prices are very reasonable. We are looking forward to going back and plan on making this a regular dinner spot.
