Bakery located inside Zeven convenience store. Offers freshly baked goods such as baguettes and sourdough breads with different herbs. Check which of these are vegan. Open Tue-Sat 9:00am-6:00pm, Sun 9:00am-2:00pm.
Closed Sun.
I asked if they had any vegan pastry and was told that everything had butter or butter and eggs... so couldn't taste anything unfortunately.
The bread may be vegan, you should ask.
IMO this place shouldn't be on HappyCow.
Staff was very friendly! They have a small assortment of focaccia, whole wheat and sourdough bread. I got the sourdough and for one big loaf I paid 8 usd. Very expensive in my opinion even though the bread is very good. The bakery is located in a convenience store, however it’s basically just a small shop selling some drinks, snacks and bread so assortment is very limited. We went to another supermarket to get some other groceries.
It was nice to find quality bread in this small city. Had a great flavor. Unfortunately, it is packaged in plastic which softens the crispy crust a little. Next time, I'll message ahead and ask them to set one side for me in a paper bag (they provide these in the store).
i bought some sourdough olive bread on the way to the beach here. the girl working there was extremely friendly and helpful (she told me all the ingredients to make sure i'm buying vegan). the bread was still warm and tasted absolutely delicious! very crunchy on the outside, supersoft on the inside. price was fair. Curacao is an island with mainly white bread so this was a welcome change! highly recommended!
