Crazy good Greek food - Edit
These are so delicious and taste so close to how I remember pitas tasting in Greece, before I started eating plant based. Will definitely be my go to now that grilld isn't an option at Carousel. Highly recommend 👌

Nice vegan options - Edit
Zeus Street Greek has a few pitas and salads where you can get either vegan chicken, vegan lamb or falafel as your choice of protein. The mock meats are scarily realistic taste and texture wise if you’re into that😄

Zeus - Edit
I visited Zeus specifically to try their plant based lamb, as I was hearing great things about it, and I was not disappointed! 😍😍
Read moreThe Zeus Pita is made with their unique plant based lamb wrapped in a pita together with slaw, parsley, vegan mayo and smoky eggplant dip. The taste and the texture of the plant based lamb is SO spot on, and it’s absolutely packed with flavour. Highly recommend you try it ASAP! And if you don’t live near Carousel, don’t worry, it’s totally worth the drive!
There’s a great range of other vegan dishes on the menu too. While I was there I tried:
🌱VEGAN MEZE BOARD - Smoky eggplant dip, zucchini falafel, roasted red peppers, pita bread, dolmades & kalamata olives
🌱DOLMADES - Stuffed vines leaves with red pepper sauce
🌱LOUKOUMADES - Crushed walnuts, maple syrup, and cinnamon sugar
I loved everything but the Zeus Pita and Loukoumades were standouts for me, so if you visit make sure you don’t leave without trying both of these!

Yummy - Edit
Zeus street Greek is super knowledgeable and accommodating when it comes to ordering vegan, just ask and they have a separate menu. I personally love the kebabs although I kind of wish they still had the beetroot hummus. Make sure you specify vegan for the pita because the vegan menu has the same name as the vegetarian pita which could be a little confusing. I also got asked if I wanted my falafel baked to keep it fully vegan which I really appreciated, also only the gf pita is vegan but all the staff seem to be aware of this. Food tastes super fresh and feels like a decently healthy option for take out. I love eating here.
