Friendly, cheap, healthy - Edit
I called ahead to check they were open and had vegan options. Woman I spoke to was v friendly and knowledgeable. Most of the options were vegan, with a choice of 5 or 6 vegan dressings. I had a lovely big ('medium') box of salad for 4.50 and chose a mixture of garlic and herb and french dressings. V tasty and healthy. She also advised me I could take my salad to eat in at their much bigger cafe round the corner on South Street, where I had a tea with soya milk and my daughter had a lovely smoothie.

healthy lunch - Edit
always good to visit somewhere trying to provide heathy food, and jobs for people in difficult circumstances.a basic salad bar with lots of choice. it's fairly obvious which items are vegan but they have a list being the counter for dressings etc. I had a large salad with so many different things at £5.95. there is a pretty a hundred yards away so it's a tough gig, but it's food to support a local business, buying locally and helping people get employment skills. a great lunch option.
Pros: lost of vegan options., staff
Cons: meat

Good salads! - Edit
This salad and juice bar offers salads to take away or to eat in their small sitting area (inside or outside). They have 3 different size of boxes for salads at a reasonable price (4,20 pounds for the medium size). I took the medium size one and ask the waitress to put every vegan item with the vegan roasted tomato sauce. I had a very good salad with carrot, fresh spinach, beans, lentils, pasta, corn, tomatoes, mushrooms, green beans, peppers and so on. Vegan items are not labelled but if you ask, the waitress will show you what you can have. About 80% of the counter has vegan items, the rest is cheese and a little meat. My salad was very tasty and fresh. What lacked were more specific vegan options like tofu, seitan, vegan cheese to put in your salad.
They have also a good range of smoothies but I've not tried them. Ask for vegan ones. The place is small but the staff is very friendly.
Pros: great choices of good vegetables, vegan sauces, friendly staff
Cons: lack specific vegan options, like tofu, seitan, vegan cheese
