Mediocre - Edit
Maybe I just had a bad experience, but I did not like the food that I got here at all - I thought it was mostly bland and some of it was kind of gross. The menu is also enormous.
I liked that there was a lot of room and plenty of seating!
I will try them again, but I definitely prefer the Zenhouse in the CBD.
Pros: A lot of space
Cons: mediocre customer service, didn't like the food, huge menu

Broad range of vegan food - Edit
Zenhouse has a broad menu with scope from western burgers and SFC (soya fried chicken) to Asian stir frys and curries. Generally quite tasty but the staff are slow, a little inattentive and have forgotten an item I've ordered on numerous occasions. Overall, a pleasant experience.
Pros: Broad range of food, Quite tasty
Cons: Service can be poor

It's ok - Edit
Theres a few great things on the menu, like the burgers, but ZH relies heavily on mock meats that come out a packet and sauces that seem like they come out of a jar... I generally feel like I could make most the meals here at home for less $. We still

Average experience - Edit
Most of the dishes were pretty greasy or fried food and the menu relied heavily upon mock meats or tofu. I feel like good vegan food shouldn't always require a meat substitute, but that wasn't the case here. Some of the dishes also tried to go a bit too experimental with Zenhouse's fusion angle, e.g. the masala tofu which was pretty gross. I enjoyed some of the more veg-focused meals though.
Pros: Friendly staff, Very short waiting time
Cons: Heavy use of mock meat, Greasy food

Amazing food - Edit
The food at Zen fusion is amazing. I'm not sure what it is but the food at this restaurant seems to taste even better than at their cbd location, which is saying somethibg. The gourmet Masala and taro rolls are most haves.
Pros: Tasty, Well priced, Friendly

Favourite place in Adelaide - Edit
First vego place I tried in Adelaide after moving to Barossa Valley. I nearly go here every week for lunch. And I order usually for 2 to 3 people cause its so damn amazing!!!!! I recommend it to herbivores and omnivores alike.
Pros: Affordable, Parking nearby, Great variety
Cons: Needs some more sweets?

Great Currys and Entrees - Edit
This Zenhouse is very good for vegan curry and entrees like the SFC Chicken or stuffed tofu.
I also like that they offer gluten free options.
We were not so happy with the other dishes, which are overpriced and rather boring / consinst of more fries than anything else.
Go there for curry and entrees, ignore the rest.
Lacks atmosphere.
Pros: Good currys, good entrees, quick service
Cons: lacks atmosphere, some dishes overpriced

Delicious food - Edit
We had steamed dim sims, dumplings, salt and pepper 'prawns' and a claypot tofu - everything was very tasty! The mock prawns were great, which just the right amount of chilli.
Pros: mock meat dishes
Cons: does not serve alcohol

Veg Fusion - Edit
I've been here twice before and was disappointed on this occasion. Customer Service was average, always is when they don't write down your order then try and recite it and get it wrong.
Clanking our dishes on the glass table non-chalantly wasn't appreciated either.
The curry puffs were layers and layers of deep fried pastry and the VFSC were tiny crunchy deep fried bits. So much oil. We ordered the veganised Honey Chicken, Salt n Pepper prawns and Asian Greens. Last time the food was fresh and had little oil, maybe it was just our menu choices, but I left feeling bloated and sluggish.
Pros: Most dishes were tasty, Not a long wait for food, Good selection/options
Cons: Average Service, Too much salt and oil, Bit pricey

Zen Again - Edit
I must preface this review to make it clear the experience was on opening night. They had obvious teething issues and I have no doubt your experience will be better than indicated here, particularly on timing. I will revisit and update this in time.
Zen Vegetarian Fusion is quite new and was opened at the site of a previous unrelated vego restaurant. Zen in the CBD is owned by the same people.
Zen Fusion is Located on Port Road so not too hard to find. It is fair sized inside with a clearly aging 80s style interior which is not appealing.
The food was moderately priced and a reasonable size. I enjoyed it very much. The Green Curry was well balanced, robust and fresh if slightly too salty. The fried rice was the best I've had for quite a long time.
Zen Vegetarian Fusion had a truly ambitious menu. It is not like Zen in the city and the emphasis is clearly on less fake meat and a wider variety of dishes, some of which one would indeed call Asian Fusion. There's plenty to choose from as a vegan or vegetarian.
The service was admittedly laughable. Clearly overrun in the kitchen the food took a very long time (a 3 hour tour!) to appear and the wait staff also lacked attentiveness and responsiveness.
The style here is a somewhat dingy Chinese restaurant. It does not match the food.
This review covers one visit on opening night.
Pros: Food Quality, Fried Rice, Menu
Cons: Kitchen timeliness, General service, Decor
