Absolute Empfehlung!!! - Edit

Best Ramen in Bremen - Edit
I tried most places in Bremen where you can get Ramen, and even though most will make the veggie Ramen vegan on request, the ones at Maneki Ramen are the best by far! Prices can vary depending on your choice of toppings, so you can get either cheap or more expensive ramen if you want.

Pros: Alles vegan, wahnsinnig lecker, Preise völlig in , Ordnung

Vegan Ramen Treat - Edit
It was great to be able to order ramen in a different country without fear of animal based-broth or fish sauce. The food was great! The tofu in the ramen was perfect, and the spicy chili paste added a deeper (and very spicy!) flavor.

Delicious Ramen - Edit
Very delicious Ramen noodle soups and some Japanese extras. Several dishes from the menu were out of stock, even the Sensha tea. Nonetheless a great experience.

Yummy healthy food - Edit
The atmosphere at ZeN´s is relaxed and the service very friendly. I quite liked the food there. The portions were a bit small and it would have been nice if the waiter had been able to tell us a bit about the basic principles of macrobiotics. That´s something I´ve read up on in the meantime.

Exquisite Japanese Restaurant - Edit
I'm not really familiar with japanese food, so eating at ZeN was a new experience for me. The restaurant is located indoors in a big lobby. The interior of the restaurant itsself offers little seats but is beautifully decorated. The bowl I ate was fantastic, it is not like anything I knew before.

The best Japanese food outside of Japan (and in Germany) so far, I think. I've been there a few times now and it was always delicious.

Worth the visit - Edit
Very good food, but small portions. Be ready to ask for extra rice or additional meal in case of big hunger. The place is small and cosy. Regarding options, there are a couple of udon dishes and rice based main meals. Miso soup was delicious

Delightful lunch! - Edit
My bf and I were biking through Europe and one of our stops was Bremen. When looking for vegan restaurants and very hungry, we found this little gem. Small portions but you get quite full because of the composition of the food; perfect amount of whole grains (like black rice) and legumes (lentils) then a nice tasting salad (though i would have love it if it was a bit more of fresh veggies) and miso soup, then I also had a matcha latte with oat milk.
Read moreAwesome taste, healthy and the atmosphere is relaxing, the staff is also very friendly.
Even more points for it being organic and using local produce! We loved it.
