Super

Heerlijke koffie met vegan kaneelbrood / appel-kaneelbrood en veel ander lekkers. Enorm grote portie. Heerlijke koffie ook. Echt een topplek

On the pricey side

🌱 Mediterranes-Stadtweck (€4,10)
- - -
Zeit für Brot has some vegan options, but I think they're on the pricy side for what you get. I chose the Mediterranes-Stadtweck which was, because of the small size, not very filling. The flavours were absolutely Mediterranean, so that's nice.

Geringe Auswahl

Die Zimt schmecken haben gut geschmeckt aber leider war sonst fast alles vegetarisch. Hätte mir mehr veganes Sortiment gewünscht

Pros: Zimt Schnecken lecker

Cons: Wenig aufregendes veganes Sortiment

Delicious!

We had and apple and almond pastry and banana bread and they were both amazing - light, fluffy and fresh. Couldn’t believe the options for vegans - highly recommend! Would give 5* if happy cow allowed

Excellent bakery, with super vegan options

There are a few Zeit für Brot bakeries around Berlin, and all are really good. Some of the outlets feel more welcoming than others (though none are unwelcoming). I really love their vegan pastries. And I totally love their Vollkorn-Saftkorn Brot!!

Pros: incredibly good bread, delicious vegan pastries

A lot of delicious bread

The petit pain is very good. They have a big variety. There is no big vegan choice and I don’t like the vegan cinnamon Roll with banana and chocolate.

Pros: A lot of bread , Nice staff , Good cinnamon roll but not vegan

Cons: Less vegan options , Very crowded

Really good baked goods

I loved this place. I took some pastries with me, but the atmosphere in the cafe was also really lovely. They didn’t have a lot of vegan choices when I was there, so I hope they’ll make more things vegan in the future. The things I tried tasted delicious tho.

False labelling

Honey in the vegan labeled hummus sandwich
Had fewer vegan options than it seemed while reading other reviews.

Pros: The chocolate bread twist was good

Cons: Pretty expensive, Honey in a vegan labeled sandwich..., Not much vegan options

Nice place

Good choice but would be nice some more variations, however enjoyed it - a lot! Mostly bakery’s have a lot of vegan products because no animal products needed! Same here. Lovely atmosphere and interior really pretty. Clean! I was there in August’21 and all time a looong queue in front of the store…

Pros: Many products are vegan , Nice atmosphere , Good food!

Cons: Variety of products for vegans , Prices, Queue in front of the store

Great Vegan Pastries

I had the hummus sandwhich, which was decent. But the cinnamon plum roll stole the show!

Clearly marked Vegan options.

Pros: Clearly marked Vegan options, Excellent vegan pastry

Cons: Not a ton of options

Limited vegan options but tasty

Amazing fluffy fresh rolls. Most flavours not vegan but everything is vegetarian. The tahini apricot roll was amazing! Some vegan sandwiches and most breads are labelled vegan (and are delicious). Good drinks selection and nice place to sit. Toilets available, card and cash payments possible.

Now with vegan buns

Zeit für Brot offers vegan alternatives to their famous cinnamon buns. Regularly changing the flavours. I tasted their berries bun, the rhubarb bun and one with apple and Tahini. Alle quite nice.
They also serve vegan bread.

Tasty hipster bakery

Hip bakery and cafe offering a variety of delicious fresh-made breads, pastries, etc.
Their specialty is some sort of German cinnamon roll, but sadly that was not vegan. Most of their rustic breads are vegan, as well as the pretzel, and a chocolate braid bread. They also have a vegan tofu sandwich that comes in rye bread and is filled with smoked tofu, arugula, apple, and some sort of beet paste. Healthy and tasty.
Every bread, pastry, sandwich is labeled vegan or vegetarian in small letters on the card where the name of the item is.
Service is friendly and English-speaking. It’s also good to know that for some breads you can buy half a loaf. Also, the ginger tea is made with fresh ginger and lemon, so
It’s very flavorful.
The place seems to be very fashionable, so there’s usually a long line, but it’s a great breakfast spot as they have the vegan sandwich and also some chia pudding and overnight oats with berries type thing. Certainly worth it. They take credit cards.

Pros: Tasty, Friendly service, Good bread

Cons: Hard to get a seat
