Poor Showing - Edit
Was so excited to try this place. Got there and could immediately tell something was up with the vibe. There was no one there yet the lone staff member was busy with something.. kept leaving from the counter and avoiding acknowledging me it was bizarre. He greeted me and weirdly said "it'll be a while" and disappeared. I'm like ok it's my first time here I don't mind chilling and really checking out the menu. Meanwhile a few ppl come in and head past the counter to the back room. When there was no sign of the staff guy after fifteen minutes I gave up. Whatever sketchy stuff may be going on in the back that's totally cool but please don't forget your business in the front.

Had the best smoothie, called Zing Zang, and juice shotz, the A-Z and Zapple at this great little #vegan smoothie shop and cafe. If you make it to the East End of Charleston, WV, make sure to stop in and say hi to this great new little biz and the friendly staff.

Every time I come here I am always impressed. Although the smoothies and immunity shots are a bit pricey, they have a wide variety and lots of add-ons to choose from. Plus it’s all organic and vegan certified.
Read moreZeganz also offers Beyond burgers, Beyond bratwursts, grilled cheese, jackfruit sloppy joes, mushroom cheesesteak sandwiches, chickpea salad sandwiches, and sometimes soups throughout the colder months along with cookies from time to time.
All bread is made fresh locally at Charleston bread and it is very good. However, they also offer gluten free breads at an upcharge of only $2.
I’ve attached photos of the menu and the chickpea salad sandwich, the Zegan (with gluten free bread), double chocolate chunk cookie, the Pez smoothie, and the Strawberry Bonanza smoothie. My favorite is the chickpea salad :)
Tuesday-Friday from 3-5pm is Happy Hour (Oct 2021) 16oz smoothies are only $6 during these times!! Go give this spot a try and support local business if you get the chance.

Excellent Little Vegan Place! - Edit
Stopped here on our way through, it was really easy to get off the highway and get back on. All of the food was wonderful and delicious! Highly recommended for both vegans and non-vegans!

Dope lil find in Charleston - Edit
Big space. Lots of choices for some good old American vegan comfort food and smoothies as well. Grilled cheese and The Pulled Z (bbq sandwich) were both delicious. Good price point.

Nice atmosphere, friendly owner, and good food! I had the spicy bratwurst with peppers and onions and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend Charleston's 1 and only plant based restaurant!

My husband and I have been to this shop several times. Every time the smoothies are delicious and so fresh.
Read moreRecently food was added to the menu and we ordered the ‘Big Z’ and ‘The Zegan’ which comes with a side of chips and a pickle and is made with Beyond burger. It was perfect! We will be back VERY soon!
