What happened?

I loved Zaziv Vegan Bistro at their Bled location, the food there was amazing, with really friendly staff. This location really disappointed me, especially since I came in with the same expectations as for their original location.

We got 2 burgers and both the bread and patties were burnt. There was WAY too much cabbage on the burgers with close to zero sauce.

The guy taking our order was very disinterested in his job and seemed aloof. It also took forever to get our food and the inside area was a little dim. Oh well.

Pros: All vegan

Cons: Indifferent staff, Slow service, Food doesn't match up to its former location

few menu options

I went here in a hurry and asked for a takeaway. The lady who served me was hesitant but said she could find a way to pack my meals. I ordered a salad, fritters and salad, a dessert and a juice. Being in a rush, I left without my juice but it wasn't handed to me and no one was yelling out to me as I walked out the door. The fritters and salad were delicious and the serving was quite big, I didn't need the additional salad. Dessert was interesting but not so good I ate the lot. The menu from what I saw was quite small with interesting options like polenta pizza slice. There is ample seating inside with an area where you can grab a book off the shelf and have a read while you relax. Friendly staff, reasonable prices

Pros: pricing, staff

Cons: limited menu

Disappointment

Wrap without any taste, only vegetables, the pancake was burned. We were there at 12 o'clock and it looks that this was too early for staff. One guy slept on the couch ... Also, another staff was very "flower power"... So, food and taste were also like that.
There is no reason for coming back, not for me!

Pros: location, space, potential

Cons: wrap was only vegetable, it was without any taste, overprices, low quality, flower power staff

Good for a big burger

If you want a big burger this place is great. We arrived at closing time but they still served us and even gave us an extra dessert for free. They speak English and the price is good for what you get. It's not in the middle of the center but it isn't far at all. Worth the walk!

inexpensive but a bit crap

Cheap food but the burgers are essentially just vegetables and bread. Wouldn't go back.

Great vegan food!

It's a huge place with a nice fast food (but healthy) menu - burgers, pizzas, salads, desserts. It's inexpensive and service is fast.

Pros: Tasty, Inexpensive , Good service

Awesome

It's a bigger place that usual vegan places but still organised so it still feels cozy, food great as usual for ZaZiv. Everything is in stock and the staff is friendly and they speak english well.

Pros: Lots of options

Cons: Pricey

Good burgers, lots of space

A large portion of the vegan food in Slovenia's restaurants is veggie burgers, but luckily they're all really good. This is no exception!

Lots of space and welcoming to eat solo, couples, or groups.

Pros: Nice food, casual, welcoming

Cons: Could use more variety

awesome burgers

This vegan burger bistro had some great reviews and it didn't let me down. the burgers were great and so fresh. even my partner had the gluten free options, including a rice bun, and it all held up really well. Unlike most gluten free buns it didn't fall apart while you ate it. If you're in the mood for a burger definitely stop here.

Pros: Delicious burgers, Good location, Excellent service

Zaziv Vegan Bistro

There are a variety of burgers and wraps to chose from. If you do get the wrap you can get the same ingredients as what comes on the burger. The orange juice taste like it was freshly sqeezed. The two cost 9,80 Euro.

There is outdoor and indoor seating and it was a nice atmosphere.

Pros: Friendly staff, Åccepts credit cards

overall very good

Burgers a good but I had better ones, to be honest. Raw cashew cheese cake was great. Coffee is okay. The interior is not very cosy but staff are incredibly helpful and friendly.

Pros: all vegan

Cons: not so cosy

The Best of Ljubljana

If you are looking for really really good vegan options in Ljubljana look no further. They are completely vegan, and they have very innovative dishes to offer and everithing is super tasty. You can choose one of 4 different pattys for burgers, and you can chose the tipe of bread and sauces to go with it. And they have a sweet-potato pie and polenta-pizza. And lots of GREAT desserts.

nice place, delicious food

Went there twice in the end before continue our journey. First of all: Everything we got was delicious (burger, wrap, pies) and the staff was super friendly! The place is lovely and located close to the university, the area seems to be a little bit laid back and isn't too touristic.
Although someone mentioned they have no vegan menu, one day later we found easy a vegan menu. The take-away-boxes as well as the cutlery was compostable which I really liked. Unfortunately they wrapped everything in aluminium and packed it in a plastic bag.

Good burgers

Probably the best vegan place in Ljubljana. You create your own burger by choosing your bread, patty and sauce. They don't have an English menu, but the staff is friendly and helpful.

Pros: Tasty burgers, Nice space, Friendly staff

Cons: No English menu

Delicious veggie burgers

Very nice restaurant with creative and tasty veggie burgers. They open on weekends, which saved me from starving in Ljubljana when most of my vegan restaurants closed.

Pros: Comfort food , Friendly customer service

Fantastic

The superjummy Dolenc burger is a must to try, the summery watermelonmixjuice very refreshing, icecream perfect and the whole jummyness is served by wonderful waitresses. The raw carrot cake is also highly recommended!

Pros: nice atmosphere, quiet neighborhood, speedy servic

Cons: A bit pricier then the vegan alternative in town.

big vegan burgers, big yummy, big surprise

Zaziv Vegan Bistro in the center of Ljubljana Old Town area (within just cca metres Ljubljanica river flows) serves big portion burgers, tartas, potato pie, pizza polenta, wraps, salads, raw cakes, some gluten free options too! coffee is one and only. big surprise it can taste really like something healthy. After having one of their burgergs with delicious buckwheat bread and chia seeds chocolate pudding I was full for the rest of the day (smiley) some goodies still wait for me to try (smiley) highly recommended, specially in the Ljubljana city where seems not to be many (or not at all) fully vegan places.

Pros: Excellent food, Big portions, Great location
