Good brownies - Edit
Brownies were yum! I think they were $2.50 each. There's some indoor seating and a few covered outdoor tables (though they still get splashed when it rains). Years ago, I liked the waffle but thought the sandwich was overpriced. I went May 2022 and reservations were not required.

Online Only! - Edit
Deserts look amazing and we'll definitely try, however as of April 17th they are only an online store with a location only for pickup orders. No more cafe with dine in options. Also the location on the map and hours are incorrect.

Good chocolates but overpriced... - Edit
We ordered a box of 9 chocolates which cost $12. The chocolates were really small and although some of the fillings were winners (the passionfruit-flavored truffle was my favorite), some felt like fillers (there wasn't much variety in the box and 4 were a variation of walnut fillings). Overall, I didn't feel like it was good value for money...

Cons: Expensive, Lacked variety in the box

Hello! I think you are not realizing that it is an artisanal work and it is made with best chocolate in word (pacari), it is the reason for the price. Also, the box contanis 6 favors (one of them has wallnuts), i dont think there is no variety. Anyway, thanks for your purchase ♡

Favorite Cafe in Cuenca - Edit
While I was working on my Master Thesis here in Cuenca, I literally came here at least 3-4 times a week, spending hours and hours in this cafe while working my way through my thesis as well as through the entire menu! The food here is beyond amazing! I can't speak highly enough of this place! Lovely staff, cosy atmosphere!!

I think Zatua Miski is quite new but I really like how they are doing things, helpful service, interesting little menu and some very enticing desserts too. Relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy.

Make sure you go! - Edit
This place is a must visit! Great little place with chairs and tables downstairs with also a small upstairs area also, we sat upstairs. We both had a smoothie bowl each, I got the lovely cacoa smoothie bowl and my partner got the strawberry flavour. Each were delicately decorated with a colourful array of fruits/nuts and seeds and tasted delicious. We also had a turmeric latte and a coffee, both were lovely, and the waiter even brought us up an unprocessed natural syrup sweetener rather than sugar which was great! We got a fruity waffle for dessert which was delicious! We finished our visit by buying the natural peanut butter that they have at the counter (which is hard to buy in South America), along with a pineapple cookie. Both delicious! Would definitely come back! Thanks!

Great food in a beautiful little cafe - Edit
We visited here twice and both time had a great experience. The chai tea is really good and they had a nice selection of cookies, treats and home made chocolates. The decor inside is really cool and it’s a nice atmosphere inside with good WiFi.

Cozy and delicious - Edit
We stepped in here yesterday! It was lovely 😊 both sandwiches were really nice and the waffle was also great. The presentation of the food is lovely as well. I will definitely be back. What a jewel!! I did miss having some regular sugar for my cappuccino, instead of cane honey but I can’t complain, that’s just me being not the healthiest. Hehe. I did not ask if hey had regular sugars either. I kind of forgot quickly about that and enjoyed my food.
Read morePros: Cozy and quiet, Nice located, Very friendly owner and staff
Cons: Not a fan of cane-honey (it’s plantbased anyways)

Great vibe and delicious food - Edit
I Love Cuenca and this little cafe fits in so well. Really cool vibe in this small, fresh and light cafe. I hade a capuccino and caramel waffles. Coming from Melbourne and a self confessed coffee snob, I’d say the coffee was average. The waffles, however, were delicious. Light and fluffy with fresh fruit and nuts - so good. The thing I really can’t get over is how cheap they are, but maybe I’m just used to Melbournes expensive pricing. Even still, $6.50 for the coffee and waffles is incredible, especially being plant based. Would highly recommend! And I’ll be back in the morning to try a smoothie bowl.

Beautiful space. Really nice and well presented smoothie bowls. Coffees were alright but a little overpriced. The raw dessert was nice but not as flavoursome or big for the price. Still, I would go again :)
