Questionable vegan items? - Edit
Think we were sold gf not vegan - crossed town in a cab to get supplies for travelling, was pointed to the cabinet of vegan items, double checked everything we were offered was vegan and it was, however it's a few hours later and the savoury looks so much like reel ham that we don't trust it, and the pastry is definitely gluten free so we assume they got confused. Vegan fruit filled croissants also dubiously dry and don't trust they're free of egg wash and real butter. Shame. That's €20 euros wasted and there's no vegan food at the airport.

Caro y lento - Edit
Un pastel super pequeño 2,40 euros. 1,50 de extras por pedir vegano en un lugar vegano y la comida tampoco es lo que vale.

Very disappointing - Edit
I was really happy to find my favourite Portuguese sweets in a rather central location, but was very disappointed as they were at least a day old and didn't taste good. After this experience I didn't try any other options.

Cheap and simple - Edit
Typical portuguese cafe, however with many vegan options. The food is simple, but really cheap. Don't expect nothing too fancy😄the simple cheese toast cost around €2.50

Solid Pastries and Cheese Sandwich - Edit
I was happy to get to try the vegan pastel de nata here, and my daughter loved her vegan grilled cheese. It was perfect for a quick snack near Pink Street.

Vegan pastel de nata! - Edit
We went to try the vegan pastel de nata, which was amazing! The other only other sweets which were vegan were the croissants, which were heavy for my taste, but otherwise, a great cozy place to grab breakfast!

Very good croissants - Edit
We went for breakfast. They have really nice and big vegan chocolate croissants. There's also gluten free options. We were offered their vegan pastel de nata. It was good but not like the original one. Still amazing to have optiona in the city!

Very friendly - Edit
Family-feeling café. The staff is very friendly.
Read moreWe had 2 vegan burgers. The chickpea was very good. The vegan pastel de Nata is also gluten free. It's great that they have GF alternatives to lots of things, from pizzas and burgers to pastries and birthday cakes. Unfortunately the vegan Nata was quite odd tasting and feeling because it was also GF. So, 4 stars for effort.
Pros: Many options, Vegan sweets, Good coffee
Cons: Vegan Pastel de Nata is always GF, Burgers lack a little flavour

Pastels de nata...! - Edit
Very happy to find somewhere that meant we didnt miss out on Pastel de Natas! Really tasty, though be prepared for the fact they are more expensive than the dairy versions.
Read moreCroissants were disappointing, more like heavy dough than flaky pastry, though may be because vegan and gluten free were combined.
Nice mixed brekkie options, and the Madeira banana and cinnamon toast was a nice touch.
Good service on both visits from the older guy, but younger guy could cheer up!
Ultimately was pleased this place existed 😍

Clearly marked allergies - Edit
There were no vegan natas available when visited (around 10am on a Saturday morning) but they did have 3 vegan croissant options. The chocolate one was stuffed with hazelnutty chocolate and the jam on had less filling but it was a decent amount. Wouldn't go again tbh unless was with someone gluten free.

Nice bakery with vegan options, but especially targeted towards gluten-free food. It has the best vegan "cheese" toast and for that it's worth a visit!

Eh - Edit
I came here because another bakery I was planning on going to was closed. The vegan pasteis de nata were ok. The Apple croissant was pretty bad and I also got a “juice” but it wasn’t a juice it was blended up , super chunky and so much foam that was almost undrinkable and hardly any flavor. It was also expensive. And my stomach hurt after trying to finish the meal (I couldn’t finish it because it tasted that bad). Thumbs down. The best place for vegan pasteis de nata is daTerra Bairro Alto!

Alright - Edit
The vegan nata were quiet good even though you should also try the one at vegan nata and princessa da Castello. We had the curry which was really bland and the burger which was boring. It was completely empty except for us. The only others were vegans coming in and buying the vegan pastel de nata and leaving again. It’s not a really great atmsophere. The only good thing is that they have a wide assortment of vegan food, that is clearly labeled but it’s also quiet expensive for the cheap quality. My stomach also felt kind of funny after eating there.
