Wir waren nun schon einige Male in Binz bei Zand und Zee und die Poffertjes haben uns immer geschmeckt. Gestern haben wir das erste Mal to-go bestellt und beim warten habe ich beobachtet, wie für meine ausgewiesen vegane Portion mit Schokocreme, die Creme aus einem normalen Nutellaglas verwendet wurde. Davor gab es sichtbare Verwirrung der Mitarbeiter*innen, welches die veganen Portionen auf dem Poffertjesblech war. Es kann sich um ein Versehen gehandelt haben, es kann aus anderen Gründen passiert sein, aber mein Vertrauen in Zand und Zee ist leider weg.

We had a great experience in this lovely cafe in Binz. Quite a few things on the menu can be made vegan (indicated on the menu as well). When we got there the vegan cheese for the savoury poffertjes had not been delivered yet (the sweet ones were available) but they were super lovely and went out to buy it for us!! It was delicious!!

We‘ll definitely be back when in the area and can highly recommend. The staff are also very interested in continuously improving vegan options which is wonderful.

Die Poffertjes mit Schokolade und Banane waren sehr lecker, allerdings war ich sehr hungrig und die Portion etwas kleiner als erhofft. Der Matcha mit Hafermilch war sehr gut. 0,30€ für Hafermilch, was schade für ein Restaurant ist, das vegane Gerichte klar markiert. Da würde ich mir ein anderes Mindset wünschen.

Tolle Option für Veganer*innen direkt in Binz - Edit
Sehr modernes Café direkt an der Binzer Promenade, mit leckeren Poffertjes, von denen es von den meisten auch eine Vegane Variante gibt. Vegane süße Snacks sind in Binz eher selten über mal einen Kuchen hinaus, deswegen ist die Abwechslung super.

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter*innen und Besitzer*innen, die sich auch mit „vegan“ gut auskennen und aktiv daran arbeiten, das Angebot noch weiter auszubauen.

Rügen is not the most vegan friendly place so having something as special as Poffertjes available was a nice surprise! You have to state that you want vegan Poffertjes as they have non-vegan dough too. I took the vegan "All time favorite" which comes with melted dark chocolate, bananas and Oreo crumbles. I took it to go and sat at the beach which is right outside. Also had a delicious coffee with oat milk and payed 11.- in total (it's more if you don't take it to go) which is an absolutely fair price for where you are and what you get. Will definitely go there again during my stay!

Ich kann dieses kleine Café wirklich allen empfehlen, die auf Rügen verweilen. Man sitzt super gemütlich an der Promenade und bekommt herrliches Essen serviert. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.
