Pardisan apartment buliding, Sima-ye-Iran Street, Shahrak-e- Gharb, Tehran, Iran

A place for organic vegan food. Wide selection of dishes including soups, and Persian imitation food (vegan chelokabob and jojehkabob). Also sells a few organic stuff like brown rice, juice, and pastries.

best place in Tehran - Edit

Very small restaurant close to Milad Noor Shopping Center.
We didn't have a reservation so we had to wait for ten minutes, but the food was definitely worth the wait! We had the Zamin Salad, Special Kebap, Nirvana.. (?) which was similar to calzone, and for dessert some tea and cake.
Much cheaper than other veggie places in Tehran.
If you need plant milk or dry food, this is your place to go.

Pros: all vegan, friendly staff, cheap

Best vegan place in Iran? - Edit

In Zamin it's hard to order something since the menu isn't in English but when you will solve this problem, you shouldn't be disappointed. I have tried somewhere around seven dishes and most of them was good. I really liked soups and the only think that I didn't like was kebab. Menu is too big in m opinion. It covers Iranian, Mexican and Japanese kitchen among the others. Prices are a little bit higher than in other places in Iran but it's quite understandable since this is really a niche in this region. Also, in Zamin there is located a shop with organic food. Possibly this is the best place for vegans in Tehran and maybe even all Iran at the moment of writing.

Pros: Probably best vegan dishes in Iran

Cons: No English menu, Still needs some improvements

Tasty & Vegan - Edit

Maybe the only all vegan restaurant in Iran. The food was pretty good, and a good value for the price paid. I was with my family and we ordered a few different things and tried them all out. The mushroom & spinach spaghetti was good, wish it had more of that mushroom sauce. The double veggie burger came on whole wheat buns and was loaded with sauce covered veggie meats - pretty tasty! And the vegan pizza w/ veggie meats was also good. They had this creamy garlic dipping sauce that was surely made in-house and that was also pretty good.

In the winter when it's cold and outside seating isn't an option, it's a pretty tiny joint so and can get a bit crammed - though they try there best to create some nice ambiance in their little space. But what irked me is they surprise you at the end with a 10% VAT that's not mentioned on the menu or on any sign anywhere (which most restaurants that charge such a ridiculous fee have). I guess they need to charge a little bit extra to survive as a vegan restaurant in a big meat-eating Muslim country...

good vegan place for vegans in Tehran - Edit

This restaurant sits in a quiet neighborhood. Outdoor seating is available in a secret little garden under trees, with relaxing music. The food is prepared with love. Service is friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. The overall surrounding, service and meal arrangement is a tiny bit short from perfect, but four stars are well deserved for the effort.

Pros: outdoor seating in the garden, relaxed atmosphere and friendly service, tasty food at reasonable prices

Cozy, friendly, super tasty! - Edit

Zamin is a great place for vegan dining in Tehran. We've been sitting in the beautifully decorated and illuminated garden, enjoying a wide range of vegan dishes and beverages: salads with awesome sauces, spicy kebab, savory burger, ... The staff was very friendly, although they didn't speak English. Their menu was also only in Farsi. The prices were fair.

Pros: Fair prices, 100% vegan + organic, Very comfortable

Cons: Only little English spoken, No English menu
