Zamin

Maybe the only all vegan restaurant in Iran. The food was pretty good, and a good value for the price paid. I was with my family and we ordered a few different things and tried them all out. The mushroom & spinach spaghetti was good, wish it had more of that mushroom sauce. The double veggie burger came on whole wheat buns and was loaded with sauce covered veggie meats - pretty tasty! And the vegan pizza w/ veggie meats was also good. They had this creamy garlic dipping sauce that was surely made in-house and that was also pretty good.

In the winter when it's cold and outside seating isn't an option, it's a pretty tiny joint so and can get a bit crammed - though they try there best to create some nice ambiance in their little space. But what irked me is they surprise you at the end with a 10% VAT that's not mentioned on the menu or on any sign anywhere (which most restaurants that charge such a ridiculous fee have). I guess they need to charge a little bit extra to survive as a vegan restaurant in a big meat-eating Muslim country...

This restaurant sits in a quiet neighborhood. Outdoor seating is available in a secret little garden under trees, with relaxing music. The food is prepared with love. Service is friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. The overall surrounding, service and meal arrangement is a tiny bit short from perfect, but four stars are well deserved for the effort.

Zamin is a great place for vegan dining in Tehran. We've been sitting in the beautifully decorated and illuminated garden, enjoying a wide range of vegan dishes and beverages: salads with awesome sauces, spicy kebab, savory burger, ... The staff was very friendly, although they didn't speak English. Their menu was also only in Farsi. The prices were fair.

... And of course great food.

This is a very cheap vegan restaurant. The soup was very good but the rest touched not my taste.
