MexiCAN go for dinner

One of the few places in or near the mall that are open at dinner time. Quick and easy, decent value for money, tasty, and filling.

The vegan cheese and sour cream work well. Good vegan sauces, too. I just wish there were more protein options other than beans and spicy cauliflower.

Not the best burrito I’ve had at zambrero

I’ve tried this chain in a country town and sometimes for lunch at work in Melbourne. The staff were nice and the vegan options are clearly marked. I just needed something after taking an afternoon flight from Melbourne so I was quite hungry. I haven’t had one for a while and perhaps I had remembered them too favourably, but I didn’t think this one was as nice as I’d had in other places. I’m not sure what was missing but I’ve definitely had more memorable burritos

Does the job in a pinch

Zambrero isn't a first choice kind of place for me, but if I'm looking for something quick and easy, it's a good choice. The vegan cheese and sour cream options are definitely a bonus.
