They have a separate vegan menu which is good but lacks descriptions. The options available are quite simple compared to other thai restaurants. The only vegan starter/nibble was edamame. I had the tofu massaman curry for main and that was good

Zaap never disappoints. The flavours they create in their soups and curries are outstanding. The Tom Yum soup I had was outrageously tasty and spiced to a nice level. We also had red and green curries which were excellent. One with tofu and one with VG chicken. I’ll always try and seek out a Zaap in a new city if it’s a handy alternative.

I loved the vibe and the menu has plenty options for vegans. Make sure you request the vegan menu, as most of the marked vegetarian options are not vegan friendly. Highly recommended the thai iced tea.

I had sweet and sour stir fried tofu and vegetables. It was served really quickly, was really fresh and hot and with a really good amount of chunky veggies.

The menu is confusing and constantly have to check with staff what is and isn't vegan. Had to make a list and send it to the staff for them to check as they were going back and forth from us to the kitchen.
Read moreAt least they don't use fish sauce in their veggie / vegan food anymore which is good.
Some of the food that they make vegan they can only do till 6 pm and some of it is on the main menu and not on the vegan menu which is also confusing. All in all the food is nice and the main meals came out before the starters.

The menu doesn’t clearly label vegan options? It has amazing vegetarian options but I had to google the allergen menu to check everything to see if it is vegan too. The server was helpful in also telling me what I can/ can’t have. But it is just a bit nerve racking not feeling 100% confident that something you ordered is vegan when it doesn’t state on the menu that it can be made vegan….I think there could be clearer communication about it from the menu. Just creating a separate one with Vegetarian (V)and then Vegan options available (VGO) ?

It is kind of pricy for what you get too.

We used to eat here regularly but decided to get a delivery during lockdown. Unfortunately they sent us a meat dish when we’d ordered everything strictly vegetarian. As such we will never be back as they can’t be trusted to serve the right thing.

This restaurant is honestly amazing! So many options which can easily be made vegan — the tofu paneang curry and the sweetcorn fritters are my favourite!! Always amazing service too

I had the red Thai curry with This Isn’t chicken. It was to die for. I also had the veggie gyozas which were stunning. Haven’t been to the actual location as I got takeaway but definitely recommend checking this place out!

My partner and I ate here just before Christmas on a Friday night. The food was amazing. I had a tofu green curry with rice. Service was fast and there were several vegan choices. If I was local, I'd be a regular here. Can't recommend enough.
