All-vegan bakery in Pasadena! - Edit
Paul is very nice and made me feel so welcomed! He remembered me even though I've only been there once. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. If I recall correctly, he said that the strawberry cake ball, coffee cake, and a few others were popular picks.
Read moreThere is only outdoor sidewalk seating (a total of 3 small tables with 2 seats each). The interior is tiny, and it carries the feel of a quick in-and-out pickup store. It's also right across the street from Pasadena's Central Park if you're looking for a stroll while you eat.
It's very transit-accessible. It's a 5 minute walk from the A line Del Mar station.
death by chocolate cookie ($3.85) - It's just a typical double chocolate cookie! It's a little gritty and dry (maybe it's gluten free?) but still delicious nonetheless.
coffee cake ($5.88) - sweet, with a flavor of cinnamon (not in an overpowering way). If you enjoy coffee cake, definitely get this, as vegan coffee cake is a rarity in Pasadena and LA.
ice cream sandwich ($9.25) - honestly, i think this was a little too sweet for me. The ice cream itself was plain vanilla soft serve, but when sandwiched by two entire chocolate chip cookies, I think the sweetness can be overpowering. Keep in mind that it also melts very fast (since it has the consistency of soft serve) and this makes it hard to keep the whole sandwich in shape. If you do not plan to eat it right away, I would not recommend getting this as it'll melt in a mere minute.

Sometimes you’ll meet Yvonne there, who is so charming and sweet, you’ll want to be her friend. The owner of a flourishing mail-order bakery, Yvonne opened this cute bakery in a great location a year and a half ago or so. We’re very lucky that she decided to land in Pasadena. We’ve tried a lot of items, from the ube cakes to the jalapeño scones to the full cakes! Everything is great (and amazingly, also gluten-free, I believe). My absolute favorite is the coffee cake.

My mom ordered me a cake as a present from this cute vegan bakery. They sell pastries, vegan goat cheese, cookies and more. The cake was beautiful and delicious! The frosting is *very* sweet. The chocolate cake was moist and so very tasty.

Yvonne's Vegan Kitchen in Old Town Pasadena, CA made my weekend! My boyfriend and I are vegan and gluten free so it can be tough to find bakeries, so when we stumbled upon Yvonne's which sells 100% vegan and gluten-free baked goods and snacks we were so excited. That being said we were so impressed by their lemon drizzle loaf; it was soft and filled with a deliciously balanced citrus flavour. We also tried their "goat-less" chèvre, in cranberry and dill, and found the texture and cheese-like flavour to be truly outstanding. Yvonne and her staff were so friendly and were happy to answer all our questions. We will certainly be back!

I really love the vibe of this little shop! Yvonne and her staff are so wonderful and kind! It's always a pleasure to stop by! My favorites are the round sugar cookies (often decorated for various holidays) and the vegan cheese she sells! Yum! Such a delicious and wonderful establishment in a lovely Pasadena neighborhood!

They have cookies, cakes and rice crispy treats available to purchase immediately. They also can custom bake items. Small shop. We were offer several samples. The chai cookies were delicious
