Busy vegan buffet for extremely good price - Edit
We went here for the lunch buffet. At 18 yuan the price for an all-you-can-eat buffet place is unbeatable! The quality is also much better than the price suggests! ;)
It is located in a pedestrian shopping street and you actually don't have to take the scary stairs others mentioned. There is an elevator leading right to the restaurant.
Inside you can choose from quite a lot of dishes. Some cold, most warm, some sweet. They don't use too much mock meat in the dishes, which I liked. Lots of different vegetable, mushroom, rice and noodle dishes. All very tasty and all vegan (we asked)!
The atmosphere is best described as crowded. Not too bad though, but expect to share your table. People are generally very friendly though, so we were perfectly ok with this.
Food was refilled very quickly. If you eat everything on your plate and don't waste food, they reward you with a 3 yuan coupon for another lunch buffet visit within a month.
I can definitely recommend this place. One of my favourites in Chengdu so far!
Pros: All vegan, Great selection and variety
Cons: A bit crowded

Solid vegan buffet - Edit
I love this place. As an American, buffets give me reason to live (jk, sort of), and this is the only vegan buffet in Chengdu. I actually found it quite serendipitously—it’s sort of downtown, not far from some major shopping streets, and I was wandering around shopping and getting hungry… when I looked up and, much to my shock, saw the word VEGAN emblazoned on a building right in front of me! How rare (in Chengdu, at least)!
You have to climb up a slightly sketchy-seeming staircase several floors to find it—the last time I was there the staircase itself was under construction and all torn up with the lights off, but the buffet was still open. That’s just China for you.
The prices are very reasonable for a buffet, and the selection of food is quite good. It’s not the biggest buffet I’ve ever been to, but there’s plenty to keep you satisfied and coming back for more. Beware of the squiggly light green vegetable (fruit? they serve it cooked) that looks a little like lumpy oversized celery—it’s called a bitter melon and it’s the only food in China I have spat back out. The dishes are all fully vegan, and 90% of them are delicious (sometimes on the oily side, though, like most Sichuan food). They have everything from noodles and rice to main veggie dishes to unusually good mock meats to desserts and soups. My favorites are their mini-cupcakes, their cauliflower dish, their glass noodle dish, and their deep-fried mushrooms.
I haven’t tried their hotpot, so I can’t speak to it, but whenever I’m there there are more people eating the buffet than the hotpot, so that says something, I think. Choose the buffet and you won't be disappointed.
If you’re looking for a filling but casual meal, I definitely recommend this restaurant!
Pros: it's a buffet, very good food, good value for your money
Cons: no alcohol

The hot pot might be better... - Edit
Located on the 4th floor of a very creepy building. Buffet was ok. Good to try different dishes but nothing more.

A very nice vegan buffet - Edit
I enjoyed so much the vegan food. There is so many different dish to taste, food that I never tried. In general, I almost dont eat sweet vegan food cause it is not easy to find, and there, there was quiet a lot to taste.
I didn't try the hot pot but, once again, there is a lot of choices.
They also sell vegan food like bread, different tofu cooked, cookies and more...
Pros: good value, friendly staff who speak English
