Effort put into vegan meals

We stayed at the (very lovely!) hotel for a night and booked the vegan dinner and breakfast as part of our stay. I am glad we did - even if not all dishes were not 100% up to our taste (there was plenty of them, in typical Japanese fashion), it was all nicely presented and overall good. Would I have had the same meals every night if I had stayed there for more than 1 night? Not really (considering the price). Would I recommend everyone to try it for at least that 1 dinner and 1 breakfast? 100% yes

Pros: Traditional

Cons: Expensive

Perfect setting and service

Traditional, old japanese building. Don't expect modern fixtures and fittings. Great view from the room, excellent service and food served in the room. Openair onsen had a view of the surrounding area and very clean. Would recommend. I would definitely stay again!
