Best To Go Vegan Pho

Believe me, I’ve experienced my share of to-go pho. First, the broth is incredible - I believe it has ginger in it. I can see why they have an option on the menu for just broth & noodles. YUM. The to-go presentation makes sense! The broth was piping hot and they also pre-cook the vegetables so you don’t end up with half cooked ingredients by the time you add it to broth when you get home. The broccoli and cabbage were so tender and so delicious. They also put the veggies in a separate bowl so you can just pour the broth into the bowl. The staff was super friendly even though they were busy answering calls when I got there. Plus! The bathroom was open and very clean (because ya know, priorities during COVID times).

Delicious!!

Their veggie pho is amazing! I also really love their tofu spring rolls, they come with a spicy peanut sauce and I crave them all the time if we’re being honest.

They also have a variety of milk/boba teas with lots of dairy free milk substitutes!

Pros: Delicious vegan options, Very fresh tasting

Hidden gem

Nestled in a strip mall off of Oceanside and College, it looks unassuming. Food is amazing. The owner may tell you how to eat the dishes, don’t be offended, because if you listen to him, it only makes the food better. I had veggie pho with fried tofu and veggies in veggie broth. While missing the star anise could be a drawback, I had it twice and didn’t miss it. Hubby got tofu fried rice and spicy fried tofu for the appetizer. Both were gone. One son got the tofu bahn mi. If you aren’t into spicy, take the jalapeños out and order without butter. The other son got a crepe made with flour and coconut milk. Owner instructed us how to eat it and he was right.

Pros: Veggie options, Good for everyone, Lots of drink options

Cons: Moderate pricing, Parking
