I was surprised to read a recent review saying that milk powder was used in a bubble tea. That must be verified and changed, if they want to be classified as a Vegan eatery! (Ah, I see that HappyCow has changed the designation to Vegetarian.) I do think most of the menu is vegan.
Read moreThis former Rawthentic location is now Yummy Green, under new ownership. It offers many similar items, such as wraps, bowls and smoothies, and I see that there are tacos, waffles, burgers and more. See online menu. There are sweets too and some grocery items.
There is also a cleanse program.
I've been trying to get HappyCow to change the description above: there is no salad bar.

I am so upset. I thought this was a vegan business - it's listed on their website as clearly vegan. I purchased a bubble tea and immediately thought it tasted a bit odd. I went inside just to confirm it's fully vegan and they said that the milk powder inside is not. I have a dairy allergy and I've been a vegan for 13+ years. I cannot believe this.

Raw can be really good - Edit
This is a very healthy fast foodish restaurant. They make really good wraps, soups and desserts and their healthy green smoothies are to die for. Really nice way to have a treat without feeling guilty.

Delicious but lacking - Edit
Our wraps tasted delicious, but I ordered the Philly Cheese which was portobello mushrooms and other veggies, plus I added on rice. The wrap literally had 3 tiny pieces of mushrooms and was 80% romaine lettuce, with no rice. When I brought it up to the counter the girl (who was apparently supervisor) seemed indifferent that my wrap wasn’t up to par, offered me the rice in a bowl (no!!) and did everything to avoid eye contact with me. Just not impressed at all.

I truly enjoy visiting Rawthentic. I am uplifted the staff and delicious food. They have excellent products for purchase such as superfoods at great prices. I did the seven day meal program which was a true blessing. It was easy to stick to, conivente and energizing which was helpful during a busy work week.

They carry smoothies with super foods & super herbs, freshly made dishes & raw desserts. They grow their own wheatgrass so you can have a wheatgrass shot anytime too! My favourite would be their lemon cheesecake.
Besides ready-to-eat foods, Rawthentic also carries their own wraps that you can bring home to make your own wraps! They also have an online store that you can order dry goods, grocery, health & beauty products, home & lifestyle products, produce, & products from their own makery, 24/7, & pick up from their store!

While a bit pricey, it was definitely worth the drive. Super awesome wraps, good but not outstanding service and amazing kale chips. My boyfriend is vegan where as I am vegetarian, but everything is vegan and he felt right at home. Sat down to draw and just good vibes all around.

Just What I was Looking For - Edit
One of many fun-filled days I had enjoyed today seeing and doing exciting things in Victoria. Went to the museum, walked around the Empress, out to the Butterfly Gardens. Saved the best for last, time to dine and from all the reviews from friends my trip to Rawthentic Eatery was on the top of my list. Our party decided to try a little of everything and share; however, my fav was the 'orange creamsicle' shake and Portabella Alfredo.

Delicious, delicious, delicious. The Glowing Goddess Smoothie – shared between two of us – had us glowing all right. The staff was kind enough to offer to put it in two glasses for us to make it easier for sharing. For lunch we had the Spinach Manicotti (4 zucchini pasta rolls filled with falafel, spinach, nut cheese, marinara, brazil nut parm), Mediterranean Wrap, and because it was a cold rainy day, the hot soup – Thai Coconut. Everything was excellent. The menu is varied with lots of choices, making it a happy prospect for future trips to try something new.

Rawthentic Eatery should be on every vegan's list when headed to Victoria, especially if you are gluten-free..you'll be able to eat everything on the menu. From the wraps to their in-house kale chips everything is super fresh, organic and delicious. Service is fast so if your stopping in quick for a smoothie, fresh juice or a quick bite this is the place to go. The selection on their menu is generous so no matter what you are craving there is something for everyone. Growing and Spreading the Love - Edit
This restaurant/cafe is really amazing for new vegans. I fell in love when I found this place! They are growing and even bought a new fridge for raw kombucha, raw cookies and other raw snacks to take away!I love their healthy message! The only real con I have is I would love more high carb meals rather than high fat, but otherwise everything is delicious! My favourites are the seven layer dip, glory bowl, classic wrap, raw nanaimo bar, the O.M.G's and cheesecakes!!!

I Love the Freshness of Rawthentic - Edit
Living on beautiful Vancouver Island we enjoy the fresh fruits and vegetables almost all year long. How wonderful that RAWthentic Eatery has a restaurant in Victoria where I can bring family and friends to experience the delicious spices, fresh flavours and lovely atmosphere. Food made in the restaurant right in front of us...does not get any fresher than that. I like the option of being able to buy from their website some of the bulk items that are in their food so I can prepare some of my own favourites at home knowing that I am using organic or locally purchased items at a reasonable price.

Rawthentic Eatery - Edit
Every time we go to Victoria we enjoy stopping at Rawthentic Eatery for some of my favourites: Orange Creamsicle Shake, a stir fry and of course OMGs for the road. I am never disappointed and really enjoy the flavours. Thank you for a great food experience.
