Organic, vegan and raw food delivery service operating across Nizza Monferrato, Asti and Alessandria. Its restaurant closed in 2019. Reported closed January 2024.
Yum Nizza 1789 is a not-to-be-missed spot, a hidden gem in a beautiful small town. Their owners, brave enough to open a vegan restaurant and bistrot in an otherwise meat-riddled territory, have created the perfect place to chill out and enjoy exceptionally good food and local wine. Open from morning to late night, it offers scrumptious cakes, healthy smoothies and juices, and wonderful cuisine made based on local revisited recipes with an intentional twist. I ate here twice, and I have always been completely satisfied. Definitely a place to go and go again!
On my last visit, I had a quick lunch with a healthy red salad with chicory, onion, avocado, and vegan cheese, followed by a juicy muscolo di grano (a kind of seitan made with gluten and lentil flour) roast with yellow and purples roasted potatoes. I was also served one of their homemade buns, made with beetroot, matcha tea, kale and other ingredients.
Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
I hope to come back soon to try out their scrumptious cakes.
