Delicious food. Try the coconut and edamame money bags and the filo pastry zucchini. Try everything! We tried all of the desserts but the donuts, the sticky date pudding was my favourite!

Food was incredible - highly recommend. The broccolini & zucchini flowers were absolutely to die for! Best thing ever. Was super super tasty. We were upstairs and was so dark you had to use phone light to see the menu!

Sensational vegetarian food - Edit
I love Yulli’s! The food is fresh and flavour combinations inventive. The ginger and leek dumplings are always a highlight. I’ve eaten here many times and I’ve never had a bad meal. The food is very reasonably priced. Make a booking to avoid disappointment.

Gorgeous wee restaurant in Surry Hills with creative, well thought menu. Outside table for 2 under the moonlight was very romantic. Great wine list to boot!

Excellent Meal but you need to book - Edit
Went to Yulli's this evening and had a fantastic meal. I had the mushroom and zucchini lasagna and my colleague had the pizza. Finished up with crumble and date/banana pudding but these simple descriptions don't do justice to the artful dishes exploding with taste.

Yulli's - Edit
We settled on Vietnamese mini pancakes(3) filled with fried tofu skins, mushrooms and veggies served with a plum sauce separate. San Choy Bao, a bowl of spicy concotion of tofu, baby corn, green beans, courgettes, bean sprout, roasted peanuts, bamboo shoots all diced. It was a bit too salty possibly soy sauce. After we shared a Davidson plum crumble and a scoop of vanilla icecream (all was vegan). Bill $45.

Fam = Happy - Edit
I love taking my food-loving sceptical omni family to veggie places and surprising their socks off w/ delicious, inventive, aesthetically-pleasing, nice-smelling, yummy-as food. This place hit the mark in more ways then one for sure. Best to go w/ large group and order ALLLLL of the starters. Must haves, definitely the san choy bow & viet pancakes (very reminiscent of Peking duck) - great texture and totally scrumptious.

Favourite vegan food in Sydney! - Edit
I've lost count of the number of times I've been to Yulli's, and I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal. Sensational food that has wowed everyone I've introduced to it - included a few committed meat eaters. Standout dishes for me are the Korean fried broccolini, edamame and coconut money bags, rice paper rolls and miso aubergine... and the dearly departed san choi bao.

This tiny eatery is popular so make a reservation. The $40 pp banquet (min 4 people) can be either vegetarian or vegan - we got to taste 11 different dishes. Very delicious.

Solid veg spot for a lovely meal. Had the money bags which were lovely and followed it up with the fried rice which had good flavour and didn’t sit too heavy. Staff were great!

The Leek and ginger dumplings are yummy but my favourite dish on the menu is a dessert...

Trendy and busy - Edit
We went there on a Saturday night and it was very busy and the music was loud. We liked the vibe but nothing if you want a quite, intimate dinner. They have a separate vegan menu that you need to ask for.
Read moreWe got a really good seat, they have a few further in to the restaurant on the way to the bathrooms/kitchen that didn't seem as nice.
The food was modern an quite fancy, so the prices were very reasonable, especially taking the area into account. I got a salt and pepper tofu with a peanut salad. The tofu was amazing and the salad was okay but VERY spicy and I am very weak with spice so that wasn't a hit for me. My date eat something with mushroom and silken tofu and that looked and tastes unreal. I had sticky date and banana pudding with coconut ice cream and it was to diiiie for, totally amazing.
All and all a pretty good experience if you are after a fun and lively dinner :)

Ask for the vegan menu when walking in. It details all the options nicely. Had the chickpea and pita dish with coconut cream on top. Food was ok. It was packed just after opening. They make their own beer.

Pretty good - Edit
Just had dinner here. I think they should've offered the dedicated vegan menu from the get-go instead of waiting until I was ready to order and asked about vegan options.
Read moreI reckon less than half the menu is natively vegan, but there were still plenty of options. We ordered the dumplings, the silken tofu over crispy noodles, the fried broccolini, and the roasted pumpkin with pea tendrils and kimchi. The food was pretty good overall. The only dish that I wouldn't recommend would be the pumpkin. It was an odd concoction of completed unrelated ingredients. Nothing complemented the others plus the kimchi wasn't even that good. Other than that, prices were fair and portion sizes were generous.
The atmosphere was lively (read: noisy). Without a reservation, we were seated at the bar. The shallow table and the small seats were a bit awkward.
Pros: good food, reasonably priced
Cons: bar seating a bit awkward

Arrived at 5 p.m as they opened the doors and the service was friendly, helpful and efficient from the start. There was an extensive and dedicated vegan menu with many delicious options from breakfast to full 3 course meals with dessert plus a good range of beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Great relaxed atmosphere and obviously very popular as almost full by the time we left. Reasonably priced for the area
