An excellent meal - Edit
I had lunch on a quiet Sunday and was impressed by the food and the service. I started with the Edamame and coconut moneybags, an imaginative dish with a great combination of flavours. The same was true of the Crispy tofu with green papaya, Asian herbs and toasted peanut salad. I was worried that a starter and a large plate might be too much but I found room for a dessert of Meringue shards with passion fruit, berry coulis and fresh berries. All the dishes were fresh, delicious and well presented. I like wheat beers so I tried the Dolly Aldrin Honeydew-melon Berliner Weisse. An interesting taste. I understand that they experiment with different fruits in this beer and another might go better. Enjoyable nonetheless.

Very Disappointing - Edit
We were looking forward to eating at this restaurant.
Read moreHowever, the Head Waiter sadly made it a meal that will live long in the memory for the wrong reasons. We arrived 15 minutes early and were told by the Head Waiter that our table (at the back of the restaurant) was not ready. He strongly advised us that we should leave and have a look round the neighbourhood.
Upon returning to the restaurant 10 minutes later, the very same Head Waiter pretended that he had never seen me before, asked me my name, told me that our table was outside and that his staff should have told me about this when we booked. At this point, it was very clear that he did not want us inside his restaurant. Thanks to another waiter, we were given a table inside. However, the Head Waiter proceeded to ignore us for the rest of the evening until we had paid our bill.
Pros: Reasonable quality food
Cons: The Head Waiter is pretentious and rude., The restaurant is very noisy.

Delightful dining - Edit
Arriving to a fully booked dinner is always a little hectic, however, excited to enjoy a culinary experience. Starting with tempura zucchini flowers that were complimented with beetroot stuffing and a sliced raw Granny Smith apple had me craving more...next choosing a pasta with oyster mushrooms and cauliflower purée in combination with their crispy tofu and green papaya salad. The pasta was refreshingly unique and the papaya salad took me back to Thailand! Now to finish we chose sticky date pudding and the chocolate lava cake washed down with Talisker. All in all making for a great 2 hours.

Cons: Confined seating making conversation hard at time, Service a little slow (end of night)

It was nice! - Edit
We had a couple of dishes for an early dinner/late lunch. Mini Viet pancakes and the pizza. They were good! I think the oyster mushrooms were a bit chewy (maybe from a can?) but overall, the flavours were very nice and and the service was good. The Boozy Kombucha was really nice too! The tables are a quite low, I would have preferred a higher table so you can put your elbows on it.

Incredible - Edit
Great atmosphere, lovely staff and oh my god the food is fantastic. We had stuffed aubergine, crispy tofu and papaya salad and the Vietnamese pancake rolls which were all delicious and so flavourful. We shared a lava cake for desert - I would advise not sharing this as it is incredible and you will want it all for yourself 😍 this is a must visit if in Sydney. We went for our final night in Australia and it was a perfect way to end it! Only minor con is vegan items werent clearly marked but 95% of menu was vegan anyway.

I love Yulli’s! The food is fresh and flavour combinations inventive. The ginger and leek dumplings are always a highlight. I’ve eaten here many times and I’ve never had a bad meal. The food is very reasonably priced. Make a booking to avoid disappointment.

Went to Yulli's this evening and had a fantastic meal. I had the mushroom and zucchini lasagna and my colleague had the pizza. Finished up with crumble and date/banana pudding but these simple descriptions don't do justice to the artful dishes exploding with taste.

Yulli's - Edit
We settled on Vietnamese mini pancakes(3) filled with fried tofu skins, mushrooms and veggies served with a plum sauce separate. San Choy Bao, a bowl of spicy concotion of tofu, baby corn, green beans, courgettes, bean sprout, roasted peanuts, bamboo shoots all diced. It was a bit too salty possibly soy sauce. After we shared a Davidson plum crumble and a scoop of vanilla icecream (all was vegan). Bill $45.

Fam = Happy - Edit
I love taking my food-loving sceptical omni family to veggie places and surprising their socks off w/ delicious, inventive, aesthetically-pleasing, nice-smelling, yummy-as food. This place hit the mark in more ways then one for sure. Best to go w/ large group and order ALLLLL of the starters. Must haves, definitely the san choy bow & viet pancakes (very reminiscent of Peking duck) - great texture and totally scrumptious.
