Modern Australian and fusion cuisine restaurant, switched to become all-vegan in 2019. Dishes vary and includes a mix of western style and Asian style dishes: stir fried vegetable, ginger dumpling, crepe, pizza, stuffed filo, croquettes, Vietnamese crepes. Desserts include crumbles, chocolate lava cake, and ice cream. Can provide banquet tasting menu for 4 + persons. NOTE: As per current restrictions, restaurant can only serve a maximum of 10 customers at any given time. To ensure all customers are catered for, dinner service will take place in
three sittings: 5:00pm-6:30pm, 6:30pm-8:00pm, 8:00pm-9:30pm. For reservation enquiries, email info@yullis.com.au. Open Mon 5:00pm-11:00pm, Tue-Sun 12:00pm-11:00pm.

Absolutely love eating here, everything is vegan, the staff are friendly and the food is spectacular. I’ve come back here a few times now and always leave happy and full.

We had a wonderful meal here. My stuffed courgette flowers in particular were amazing but everything we had was delicious. To finish we shared the Kanafe desert - lovely!

We were able to try a wide variety of dishes, from zucchini flowers to the gyoza to the Vietnamese pancakes to the calzone. Everything executed quite well, but perhaps a little short of memorable. The fusion-y array of options puzzled some of my friends but I don’t mind especially. This place is a 4.5 in my book—nothing wrong with it in any way, just a bit less than 5 stars especially in a world class city.

I love everything about this place. I’ve been back twice now; the staff are great, food comes out pretty quickly, the menu is extensive without being overwhelming and the food is literally so good.

When you go, make sure you get a very many dishes and share amongst yourselves. It’s absolutely the best way!
Every time I go here I love it so much. It’s become my regular birthday spot.

Exceptional flavours and that is that! Too good a dining experience to walk past. I quite liked the table setting outside which was like intimate style eating down the side of an inner alley/laneway. You cannot fault the food and why would you try to, anyway? I love and will support any vegan establishment. This one is just another level.

Many alternatives, the broccolini was great, the crispy tofu kind of meh. Service was OK but not amazing. If you like jazz, they have live performances, but in a separate section, so if you don't like it, you'll be fine.

A Surry Hills Classic We Still Come Back To - Edit
Yulli’s has been part of the Surry Hills dining scene for years, and we first ate here long before we went vegan. These days it is one of our go to spots for special occasions. The food is always very delicious with a strong focus on whole food ingredients, and it is a place we happily bring non-vegan friends who always love the dishes. The only downside is that some plates rely on very similar sauces or condiments, which can make the flavours blur together a bit. The staff are lovely, but service can be hit or miss, sometimes they are run off their feet or not very helpful with menu recommendations. Despite that, it is still a place we enjoy returning to.

As you can see, pretty much everything was mind blowing. The money bags and zucchini flowers were so good they made me want to cry. The Calzone tasted great but was immediately soggy unfortunately (despite eating it there). The kanafe was spectacular, and the Papperdelle tasted great and held up well as a takeout dish that I ate later on the plane.
Staff was so kind and helpful. Amazing place, hope to go back one day!

Love yullis and have probably been more than 20 times. The Vietnamese pancakes are a standout. The staff are usually very good, fast service, delicious food. Always a regular go to option for a dinner out.

Excellent fully vegan menu. We came in a group of 4 and all had the feed me which was good value at $51 per person. There was plenty of food and we all left full. Every dish was delicious.
Read moreAs other reviews have mentioned, it is very loud and crammed inside. We ordered a bottle of wine and one cocktail and the cocktail came out very fast but the wine took a significant period. The food also took a long time to come, then all came at once and we were rushed through the courses a little. The waitress initially brought us the wrong bottle of wine and wasn’t very friendly when we pointed it out.
Overall still a great experience with delicious food but service could be improved. Would definitely still return 😊💚

We were a party of 4 and each chose the $47 fixed price, 4 course menu. I also did the drink pairing for $100 total. The food was fresh, inventive, and satisfying. All the courses had standouts, nothing disappointed. Vibe was energetic and positive with fully packed house on a Tuesday night in the winter. Reservations are recommended.
