Die Essensauswahl war top. Als Veganer waren wir total begeistert von der großen Auswahl, die auch noch klar und deutlich deklariert war. Man konnte auf den ersten Blick sehen, welche Gerichte vegan sind – super unkompliziert!

Normalerweise kennt man ja den typischen Asia-Geschmack - Einheitsbrei. Das hier hat ganz anders geschmeckt - im positiven Sinne. Alles war frisch zubereitet, was man auch auf der Karte nachlesen kann. Großes Plus!
Auch die Portionsgrößen waren absolut angemessen, da wird jeder satt!
Auch Extrawünsche wurden freundlich umgesetzt, was ich sehr zu schätzen weiß. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt: Die Getränke waren etwas teuer– aber bei dem guten Essen kann man darüber fast hinwegsehen.
The food selection was excellent.
As vegans, we were absolutely thrilled by the wide range of options – all clearly and visibly labeled. You could immediately see which dishes were vegan – super convenient!
Everything tasted really delicious! 😍 We especially loved the mini spring rolls, the rice cakes, and the stir-fried noodles with curry sauce. Usually, you expect that typical generic “Asian food” taste – but this was completely different, in the best way. Everything was freshly prepared, which you can also read on the menu – big plus!
The portion sizes were absolutely spot on – you’ll definitely leave full!
Special requests were also handled kindly and with no fuss, which I really appreciated.
Only downside: the drinks were a bit pricey – but with food this good, it’s easy to overlook.

Yuen is not only the oldest Chinese restaurant in Salzburg, it's also the most modern one.
Read moreAs a vegan, I love going there because 50% of the entire menu is vegan. You can also go with your non-vegan friends.
Everything there is delicious, but here are my three favorite main courses: Tofu Faschiertes, Bami Goreng, and Karfiol "Gong Bao".
Believe me when I say the Gong Bao has the best smell of any food you’ve ever smelled.
The best starters are Reisnudel-Röllchen, Mini Frühlingsrollen, and Crunchy Sea Chips.
Yuen also serves excellent coffee with oat milk, and for dessert, you can enjoy a vegan ice cream or vegan matcha tiramisu.

Delicious food! Cabbage appetizer was huge, a little spicy, and tasty! Curry vegetables & tofu entree was good, but not spicy.

Sadly, no brown rice option. Entrees come with white rice.
Staff speak some English, but not fluently. Vegan items are marked. All allergens (gluten, dairy, shellfish, etc.) are marked. Very reasonable prices. Beautiful decor!
Perfect location near Mozart house & Mozart birthplace (2 separate museums).

We had dinner in this restaurant with my husband and it was really good. The menu has A LOT of vegan options. We had the cawliflower Gong bao and the MaPo tofu and they were both delicious. The servings are huge. The small outside terrasse is cute and cosy. A really good place !

We loved everything about this restaurant - it's in the heart of Salzburg, but in a sidestreet with quite a big outdoor patio (dog friendly). Staff was super nice. The vegan dishes - so good! Highly recommend!!
