I think I just don't like Hakka food - Edit
Was excited to try Yueh Tung with some friends because I saw they had some good vegan options. Unfortunately I think I've found that I just don't like Hakka as a cuisine because I didn't think the food was very good at all. I still gave a couple stars because of the ample vegan options and amazing service, but the food itself was a disappointment. I tried the chili tofu, vegtable fries rice (no egg), and chow mein with rice noodles. The sauce the tofu in didn't have much flavor and was very gloopy, the rice and chow mein also lacked flavor and were mehhh. I don't think I'd personally go back, but give it a try if you like Hakka cuisine.

Classic hakka restaurant with a separate vegan menu. So tasty and spicy. They have a vegan menu listing eggless items like hot and sour soup and vegetable fried rice. I tried the hot and sour soup, fried eggplant, eggless fried rice, Manchurian tofu, and all were excellent. Definitely adding it to the regular rotation. It's also a nice large space with large tables if you want to have a birthday or family gathering.
Read moreServing sizes were large. Everything is family style sharing. My photos show plates more than half eaten because I got too excited and almost forgot to take a photo. The egg fried rice was all gone before I snapped the pics!
