While shopping in the Ita Thao district I spotted this vendor tucked away in a narrow street. The sign stated it was vegan which was a sight for sore eyes. I may not have spoken the language, or had the ability to read the menu, but the fact it was vegan reassured me to just point at the sign and try something new.
Read moreAs far as taste goes, it was good. The Kimchi & cilantro balanced the flavors of the dried tofu quite well.
My only complaint was not having a place to sit down while eating, but hey that's street food.
Pros: Vegan , Affordable prices
Cons: Nowhere to sit. Must eat while walking.

Delicious vegan street food! - Edit
This small stall in Itathao sells tasty savoury marinated tofu filled with pickled veggies and kimchi. There are other stalls selling similar snacks, but this is the only fully vegan and gluten free one. Good value and friendly owners, although there is no English menu. Try one of these as you wander down this street market area.
