Excellent, kind and easy to find

When we arrived we were so happy to have found it so easily as often it is not so easy here in China. They didn’t open for another hour but offered to let us sit and have tea until opening time. The food was fantastic, the menu has photos and English descriptions. There were a lot of Mock Meat choices. The sweet and sour “pork”, served cold, was amazing. The service was kind and understanding and with the help of translator apps we were able to communicate quite well. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Tianjin!!

Worth a visit

This was a great restaurant with a huge menu. There were a lot of mock meat and fish dishes, but also loads of veg, soups and noodles. Some of the dishes were strangely named (try the 'bacteria' - actually delicious mushrooms deep fried in a spicy batter) but everything we tried was excellent. The menu is in Chinese and English, and although the staff didn't speak English, they were very helpful and I thoroughly recommend this place.

Pros: extensive menu, friendly staff, great food
