Great selection

Really broad selection of marked vegan options! All really fresh - pretty sure the grandma picked cucumbers fresh from the garden!
We had the tofu with tomato, cucumbers, and fresh bamboo shoots, all delicious.
Nice service - he accepted our bumbling mandarin with a smile!
We ordered more than we could eat (for 86yuan) and he packed some for us to take away.
If you put the Chinese name into amap it takes you straight there but the name translates to Yangshuo Jinxihui Private Kitchens (Yulong River Branch).

Delicious

The place is in: 广西壮族自治区桂林市阳朔县卓悦英文书院西侧200米 (in Chaolong, it is not in Yangshuo city!)

Our hotel staff recommended this place. The first day, they helped us communicate with them so that it was easier to explain that we were vegans.

This place ended up being some sort-of safe space for us, since it was a bit hard to find vegan options (primarily due to language barrier).

I think other vegans may have visited this place so that they might be familiar with it. Just in case, I used some of my one-liners to clarify that I am vegan:

In addition, I'd mention some dishes about which I knew they were vegan and ask for them.

The lady there was very patient and helped us a lot.

My favorite dishes were the fried tofu and the braised pumpkin!
