Some vegan options - Edit
The soup of today was vegan, a tasty Thai carrot soup. They also offer a vegan onion bhaji (if you leave out the raita). Only two of the sweets are vegan (banana and chocolate bread, and lime tart). Oat milk for coffee available.

Small portions but lovely flavour - Edit
Not sure what to focus the review on here. The portion was incredibly small, and the pie was very tasty. I have eaten a second lunch to fill me up though.
Read moreBusy cafe at YSP that always has vegan options, wraps, soup, and the main event which was lentil cottage pie with veg. Lots of flavour but oh so very small.
Fab views over the park but you have to pay £9 to get in the park to the cafe.

Vegan options - Edit
Recently ate here on a trip to the sculpture park. Opted for the avo on toast vegan option which was lovely. Choice of breads & didn't think I was missing out.

Options but pricey - Edit
YSP is a great place to visit, but the cafe is quite expensive (small cakes). There are vegan options of meals, cake and sandwiches but not all properly labelled. Plant milk availabl3 for drinks at no extra charge.

Good food with vegan options - Edit
I had the soup and sandwich deal for £5.95; there was one vegan sandwich and the servers went to check if the soup was vegan for me which it was. One vegan cake available too. All really nice!

Lots to choose from - Edit
Quite a few clearly labelled vegan options in the sandwich chiller and hot food counter. Friendly staff. Lovely views from the café. Presumable because the café subsidises the incredible Yorkshire Sculpture Park, the prices are a little higher than you would pay elsewhere in Yorkshire. We had very nice onion bhaji sandwiches and a lemon cake. There is a water cooler and glasses to help yourself from and the staff will fill larger bottles on request.

Lovely vegan breakfast - Edit
I enjoyed a delicious vegan breakfast here, although they made an error and served it with eggs. They were very apologetic. I also visited the little cafe where I had a piece of vegan lemon cake. Non dairy milk was available too. I believe the Weston has vegan options for the more formal dining option.

Cons: Not a huge amount of choice , Eggs given in error.

Great meal and snacks - Edit
We had 2 different vegan cakes (one choc orange tart and one chocolate raspberry loaf cake) at the cafe at the visitors centre when we arrived, along with coffee with soya milk. There were a couple of sandwich options and a vegan sausage barm available.
Read moreWe later had a meal at the Weston, pea and bean hummus with sourdough, and a dhal with rice and aubergine pickle, both were delicious. All options were clearly labelled.
Water machines for filling bottles available.
Would definitely eat there again.
Pros: Good quality food, Fabulous setting, Friendly helpful staff.

Not vegan friendly at all - Edit
Went at 12:30pm for lunch, only 1 vegan option and it was sold out already. Chips and veg cooked with meat so not an option. No other options and no milk other than cows milk available. Really disappointed and expected better. Even the veggie options couldn't be veganised.
Read morePros: Absolutely none
Cons: Not vegan friendly, Cook chips and veg with meat , Terrible customer service

could (should) do better - Edit
the sculpture park is amazing but the cafe when i went was busy, dirty, understaffed and the cakes overpriced. although i didn’t have a main, some of the savoury choices looked good, the veggie options at least. really disappointing.
